We cannot thank Captain Matt enough for the wonderful experience during our Sunset Cruise! His expertise of the region and the interesting details he shared about the ships and natural wildlife along the river made the trip that much better.

As someone who returns to the 1000 Islands every summer with my family, we have done a lot of the tours and activities the area has to offer. This was definitely our favorite so far!

From safely accommodating our 3.5 year old daughter's need to "go fast" to the adorably appropriate goose stuff animal she received before departing (thank you for that one, Lorie!), Matt made sure that everyone felt included during our trip. We will definitely be back and can't wait to arrange a custom tour!

What a great trip! Matt, our guide, was highly knowledgeable of the best fishing spots. We caught lots of fish! He explained technique perfectly…great for beginners or skilled. We saved enough of our catch to enjoy a shore dinner with it! Do the shore dinner!! It was great! We all left completely stuffed! 5 star trip!

Captain Matt knows the River. Highly recommend him for your next charter trip in the 1000 Islands. My son and I did a 4 hour excursion in Clayton NY and within 10 minutes of Capt Matt picking us up at our dock and him giving us his fishing tips and different techniques we caught our first Bass. We love to fish but don’t do it very often. He treated us like we were his fishing buddies. Overall we ended up catching 11 Bass and 15lb. Drum fish and 20lb. Drum fish. Great memories we will definitely be back next summer.

Had a wonderful time touring the 1000 Islands with Matt and Lorie from 1000 Islands Excursions. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about the river and islands on top of being excellent hosts! Cannot recommend them more if you want to have a lovely experience on the St. Lawrence River!

We had yet another great fishing excursion with Captain Matt this past Thursday! We previously booked an excursion with him in 2023 and couldn’t wait for our trip this year. We have every intention of booking another trip in 2025. We caught seven smallmouth bass, four walleyes and two drum fish. They all were a great size fish that put up a big fight. One of the walleyes was 26 inches long. He knows right where to go for good fishing but he also really cares for the environment of the land and the river along with everything that the river holds. I can’t say enough about Captain Matt and our experience. Such a great guy and such a wonderful experience. See you next year Captain Matt!

We had a wonderful time abroad Capt. Matt's wine tour in the 1,000 Islands. Matt and Lorie were an absolute pleasure to work with from planning to executing our trip -- they were friendly, helpful, and flexible through and through. The excursion itself is a delight. Matt was punctual with our pickups, arranged ground transportation at the winery, and made a lot of small adjustments to make our ride comfortable. We most enjoyed Matt's stories about local history and nature. He's quite funny as well! Thank you, both!! We loved our with aboard!
