Lynn, the manager, was the least friendly person I dealt with while wedding planning. I was told I could not come see the room again after booking it because I did not book for our reception to be there as well. I was told I would have to come when she is there, but then she never let me know when she would be there.

There is no space for the bride/bridal party to get ready. We were told we could get ready in the kitchen... the floors were greasy and sinks were wet. I ended up having to book a hotel room just to have a place to get ready.

The day of the wedding her CD player did not work and she had to play our ceremony music on her phone. Which we were informed of only ten minutes before the ceremony began. This would have been great except the music kept getting interrupted by her phone receiving text messages.

The groom was locked away in a side hallway to keep him from seeing me; however, they forgot to let him out and our entire wedding party was lined up before one of the groomsman figured out where he was and opened the door.

Lynn did tell us she has only done 2 weddings there so far and it was a work in progress. Unfortunately, my mother paid her before I even arrived to see the location so I was stuck with it.

With all of the other places in Erie to have a ceremony/reception I would not recommend this location.

I can’t comment on the food or service for bridal/baby showers as we did not do that there. But the lack of space, lack of professionalism, and lack of accommodation was enough to leave me with a bad taste in my mouth after leaving. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone else for their big day.

I will say the natural decor is cute, but that’s about all t has going for it.

We had our small wedding reception at 21 La Rue Dix. The venue was perfect for our 40 person guest list. Our guests loved the decor and how nice the facility was. It was elegant and perfect. Our wedding was perfect.

I just want everyone to know that their phone number is incorrect. I am getting multiple phone calls a day and would really appreciate it stopping. Clearly this is very professional of them and I can’t find another way to contact them that isn’t my number lol. I don’t understand how they are functioning as a business with an incorrect phone number on their website.
