I have sent in reviews before… the staff is great, very clean and fresh rooms, easy access to anything in Amador County, wineries, historic towns like Sutter Creek. Great stopover on the beautiful back route on the 88 to Tahoe, or on to Yosemite along the foothills. Super well maintained rooms and grounds including Pool and Hot Tub, fitness and very close to downtown restaurants, antique shopping etc. I always stay here with my wife, we love it!

Alyssa was amazing, doing so much and yet her customer service is above and beyond. She went out of her way to assist us and make sure our stay was great! Thank you so much Alyssa! The rooms were clean and the perfect size and the coffee and breakfast great!!

We had a terrible experience at this hotel and strongly advise against staying there. The A/C unit in our room emitted a constant whining and rattling noise and it was too hot to turn it off. We noticed this upon entering the room and requested a change. We looked at 2 different rooms - both were worse for A/C noise and, in addition, one had clearly been occupied by a smoker. The desk clerk told us the A/C units were old and the owner refused to upgrade them. She told us there were no other rooms available so we accepted the first room and requested a discount for the hassle. There was no manager on site but the night desk clerk assured me she would phone her. The morning desk clerk’s comment after hearing our complaint said it was just “luck of the draw” we got such a noisy room. The manager’s response was “there would be no discount. If we weren’t happy, we could’ve gone somewhere else”. Note: in addition to noisy A/C units, it took several attempts to get the customer computer and printer to work and the breakfast was poorly stocked with no attendant in sight.

Hotel was very nice, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and staff was wonderful!! A breath of fresh air to have kind warm courteous staff!! Been staying in quite a few hotels recently, and this stay was the most comfortable we have had.

The staff was friendly & the jacuzzi was so warm. We arrived at night but was still able to make use of the jacuzzi. Breakfast had a great selection of food. We stayed at on the suite on the first floor because they had no more regular rooms. I would recommend staying here.

I can't say enough about the staff. Rachel and Jennifer both helped us out a lot. They're extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Had no problem with anything that I needed help with. They were more than happy to help us out. The entire staff deserves a mention as they are all doing a great job. Keep up the good work!!! And yes! We'll definitely be back. Thanks again!!!

Air conditioner did not work properly, it made a terrible squeaking noise. The sink was clogged with water to the top and when I told the front desk they handed me a toilet plunger to fix it myself. ||They were unable to accommodate me with another room or refund. Would not recommend this hotel.

Room was dirty, had eaten sushi that was on the carpet that wasn't cleaned up. So we had to pick it up ourselves. Toilet door could not be closed and out looked like the hinge was loose and the door was about to drop off, we were so worried. What a horrible experience.
