We've been coming here for years, and it's a work in progress. We like the cabins for the roominess, separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The rooms are being remodeled, new flooring, paint, bedding, etc. The community room next to the pool area is well done. The location is convenient, near downtown Jackson, and on Highway 88 to Tahoe.

Very clean and comfortable. The hotel is being renovated on the outside so there's a bit of a mess but the room we have is wonderful. Looking forward to breakfast ?

Great little rustic lodge hotel! The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were very clean as was the bedding. The furniture is a little outdated but it fits the rustic lodge feel. Views from the windows overlooked a pretty little wooded area. The outdoor areas were clean and well maintained. They're dog friendly too! Only downside was the beds are on the firm side.

Well, let me tell ya the power was out all around town in Pioneer so people were coming out of the hills they couldn’t take it any longer. The power has been out for say for five days that’s why I was up there to take care of my mother-in-law PG&E was, even up there taking up the hotels and motels there was not a place we had anywhere so I found the Jackson Lodge and let me tell ya I can’t complain. My room was a nice room. I heard that there were not very nice rooms around me, but my room was a nice room Room 214 the room had nice hot water. Nice water pressure add nice hot heater sheets are clean. I slept all night that night. The owner manager was very nice.

My girlfriend rented a cabin, it was roomy and the floorplan was good. All the appliances worked fine but everything was very dirty. We had to go to the market and get cleaning supplies and give it a good once over to make it sanitary. We did not clean the freezer it is still filthy dirty. There were some plates, glasses and utensils but no pans or skillet to cook with. The bed was very old and hard as a brick. The place is in a good location I wish they would provide a better experience.

The employee Chris was helpful and very kind when booking and checking into the hotel. We found that there were only two towels in the room so we requested a few more given there were four of us in a family room. This seemed to be an issue. He seemed irritated at that request but finally gave us the towels. We simply dropped off our bags and went out to eat because we checked in late in the evening.
Upon returning and using the restroom, a cockroach ran across the floor near the tub. There was also one on the wall by the sink as pictured. When we went to the management office another guest was there and asked if we are having issues too so he was obviously unhappy. Chris was understanding and called his boss yet made sure to mention the request for extra towels which we had not used yet given we had just returned from dinner. They offered to move our room but I couldn’t trust it and was pretty freaked out. They kindly refunded our money but asked for a written statement and we emailed the image of the roach. While in the parking lot another guest was walking from the management office and heard me on the phone and told me she was treated rudely over requesting extra towels. I was really looking forward to nice sleep and swimming in the pool since it looked so nice in the photos. Bummer!

Unsanitary. One of the most disgusting hotels I've ever stayed in. The cabin rooms are very run down. I don't care about old furniture, but I do care that the kitchen was so dirty (floor, stove, microwave, refrigerator, utensils etc) that we didn't even dare cook. The walls and baseboards look like they have never been cleaned. The coffee tables, kitchen table were dirty. After we checked our bed sheets we only sat on the bed. We did not use the couch, tv, kitchen or anything. It was too disgusting to even touch. The price we payed for this stay was ridiculous. This hotel should be a $29.99 rate. We tried to move to another hotel but no other hotels were available due to a special event in town. We met a couple who left the same day we did and they said their hotel room was just as bad.

If you're a fan of textural experiences, the showers feel (and look) like they haven't been cleaned in a month. They even have a complimentary breakfast in bed! Though you're the breakfast... Bed bugs, black mould, and sticky floors, what more could you want?

They've got a great community atmosphere - you'll be able to hear your neighbors easily with their paper thin walls. Don't even worry about their no-pets policy! They let other people bring dogs, you'll be sure to hear those 'cute' barks through till 2am. With their obvious sanitary standards I'm sure they're very contentious of customers with severe dog allergies!
