Our group of 8 had the pleasure to enjoy the Santa Ynez area with Paul on a private tour. He picked 3 very good wineries- each one unique and special. I appreciated his knowledge of the area and wine in general. The van was clean and comfortable and we were well taken care of the entire day. I would book with him again. The value was great for the types of wineries we visited and we never felt pressure to buy or rush. Highly recommend!

Appellation wine tours is the best way to experience Santa Barbara's wine country. Paul is the perfect host with an extremely deep knowledge of wine and the region, thanks to his rich background in the industry. He built a very personalized experience for us based on our specific tastes and interests that avoids the touristy tasting rooms in favor of private, exclusive experiences in the vineyard amongst the grapes you are drinking. I learned more about wine in one day with Paul than I had in all my previous experiences. Often Paul knew more about the wineries and their wines we were visiting than the people hosting us and is passionate about the craft with out being overbearing. Having worked in the wine biz for several years, I wanted a tailored inside look of Ojai and Santa Barbara wines on my first visit to the region. Paul delivered BIG time. In one day, we did three private tastings with three different winemakers. Of course, all the wines were exceptional. The best day celebrating a 50th with lifelong friends on a bucket list trip to the Ojai Valley Inn. We had weather challenges and Paul handled it like the amazing professional that he is. Great small production wineries, amazing lunch, great insights on the area and concierge service the whole day and beyond. When Paul asked about our weekend plans he even called ahead to reservations and let them know we were coming. Book a day with Paul - he is fantastic!

My husband and I spent a day touring with Paul on our first visit to Santa Barbara. After learning some of our preferences regarding wine and vineyards, he selected three that were just spectacular. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable about CA wine county. However, his passion and enthusiasm for Saint Ynez Valley wine country was palpable. He was a joy to spend the day with and continued to tailor the tour to our interests or inquiries as the day progressed. It was clear he had very good relations with the various wine makers and team members at each enterprise. I whole-heartedly recommend Paul for anyone seeking to explore the SYV wine region. We definitely plan to engage him again when we return.

Had such a great time touring some beautiful wineries in Santa Barbara wine country with Paul. The lunch spread was perfect and complemented our wine tasting experience. This was our second time touring with Paul and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a great experience in Santa Barbara wine county.
