Loved, loved, loved it! We went for my son's 14th birthday and did the air combat tour. Our pilots Dan and D-man (Damon) were great! They walked us through the whole experience before we got in the planes and then flew us out to where we could fly the planes ourselves (neither of us had any experience). It was incredible!! An experience like none other that we will never forget. Thank you Dan and D-Man : )

Treated my husband (and myself 😉 ) to a group biplane flight with San Diego Sky Tours. Our flight included sightseeing over La Jolla and the surrounding communities and flight maneuvers off the coast over the ocean. The flight maneuvers were intense and exciting. Our pilots Earl and Scott were friendly, knowledgeable, and very skilled pilots. Both my husband and I had an amazing and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this business!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish, Earl 'The Pearl' and D Man were super friendly and made us both feel extremely welcome, the flying was brilliant, the tour took us around Point Loma and down the coast alongside Coronado flying in formation which was fantastic. The aerobatic and combat part of the flight was incredible. Earl and D Man demonstrated a few manouvres to get us used to how it was going to feel then we were down to it (Fights on!) We had so much fun, It was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone. Thankyou so much!

Took a group of clients to do the dog fighting. It was awesome. Everyone loved the experience. The pilots were total pros and it was a surreal experience getting to fly in WW2 style planes. Highly recommend. We looked at using another group but one of my friends knows a competition acrobatics pilot who recommended this group for their military training and safety record.

What a great time! Well worth the money - yes it might be a bit steep - not to do every weekend - BUT so worth it - the pilots are professional and FUN!... i'm so stoked on flying now, me and my wife loved this - a great anniversary flight!

I had the most amazing experience doing this sky tour! I'm not sure what I originally expected but this far surpassed everything I thought. We flew out along the coast and I got to learn some fun facts that I never knew about San Diego. When we were far enough out over the water, Earl (the pilot) let me fly the plane to get a better understanding of how everything works. Then he did some maneuvers including some barrel rolls, a loop, and a stall turn. It was absolutely amazing and I had no idea I'd have so much fun on this sky tour.
My dad originally purchased this for me as a birthday present. After I went sky diving last year, he thought this would be a little safer. Honestly, I'd say the two experiences are pretty similar as far as thrills though. If sky diving or barrel rolls aren't for you though, don't let that stop you from doing this tour. The pilots and the whole staff are very accommodating. They're there to help and they'll only do tricks and maneuvers if you feel comfortable. I cannot recommend this experience enough.
