As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many wedding planners, but none quite like Ivory + Stone’s team. From our very first interaction, it was clear that they were not only incredibly organized but also genuinely passionate about making every couple’s dream wedding be a reality.
They were meticulously prompt with multiple timeline meetings with me (photographer) and the videography team making sure we all were on the same page leading up to the couple’s day.
On the wedding day, Robyn and her team were amazing, coordinating all the moving parts seamlessly. Their attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing me to focus on capturing the beautiful moments without having to worry about the timeline.Whether it was coordinating with the vendors or managing the schedule, they handled everything with grace and professionalism.

From the moment we started working with Robyn, every step of the wedding planning process became less stressful and (dare I say) fun! She is a true professional at the top of her game and she will make sure your day goes as flawlessly as possible. We worked with her as a partial planner, but she put in so much work that I can’t fathom what more she could have done to help us. It started with vendor selection, typically an overwhelming process made shockingly simple with Robyn’s guidance. After getting to know us she suggested specific vendors for us to reach out to. We reached out to multiple vendors but ended up choosing her recommendation every single time because they really were the best fit. After helping us put together the perfect team of vendors, she helped us stay organized and on track with our to do list.

On the day of the wedding, we did not have a worry in the world. I’m going to say this again….on the day of the wedding we didn’t have to think or worry about ANYTHING. Robyn and several support staff from Ivory & Stone took care of every single detail so we didn’t have to. Our wedding was not a simple affair - we had our ceremony at a private home about a mile away from our reception, so there was an incredible amount to keep track of throughout the day. Despite all that, as far as we can tell the entire event was flawless. If anything went wrong we certainly didn’t know about it. We were able to be completely present for our big day and enjoy ourselves to the fullest.

So, clearly, we have no doubts that Robyn and her team are the best wedding planners in the business. I also have to mention that every single vendor I spoke with had nothing but good things to say about Robyn as well. Robyn at Ivory & Stone was our wedding planner for our October 2023 wedding in La Jolla, California. It was the relaxed, beautiful dream of a day that we wanted and we have Robyn and her team to thank.

We went into planning pretty open-minded and were planning our San Diego wedding from out of town, so we relied heavily on Ivory & Stone to help us figure out our vision for the day and guide us with selecting vendors, food, flowers, table-settings and all the big and little decisions along the way. I’m so glad that we put our trust in Robyn, because the day went off without hitch and was stunningly beautiful. With respect to design, Robyn has a great eye, was always receptive to our ideas, and had wonderful suggestions and ideas where we were indecisive. She is also detail-oriented, organized, and just a true expert in wedding planning, particularly in the San Diego area. Just about every time I spoke with a vendor, they would tell us how much they loved working with Robyn. I can be a bit of a worrier but knowing we were in such great hands through the planning process and the wedding itself took so much of the stress out of wedding planning and allowed us to focus on the fun of it all. In addition, Robyn was really cognizant of our budget, had a lot of helpful resources to stay organized with vendors and payments, and overall helped us not get overwhelmed by the money side of things. And on top of everything, Robyn is so lovely and it felt like planning a wedding with a good friend. Whenever anybody asks me how wedding planning went or was going, my honest answer was always that it was great because we have Robyn! We were so lucky to have Ivory & Stone on our team and I could not recommend them more.

We worked with Ivory + Stone for full planning and details for our wedding on 3/30/24. We interviewed a couple planners but from the moment we met Robyn it was clear that her experience, organizational skills, and personality were just what we were looking for. Robyn helped make great recommendations when we were stumped, including helping us find our dream venue, the most fantastic band, a florist that all my friends are still talking about, and amazing rentals that brought so many unique details. Robyn negotiated all of our contracts and was sometimes able to save us money with special discounts or get us an extra add on at no additional charge. All of this would have been enough, but when it came to the actual event, Robyn really blew us away. She has extraordinary attention to detail and made sure the day went smoothly in spite of the issues that inevitably popped up. Robyn's entire team is second-to-none. Where do I even begin with Ivory & Stone?! Let’s just say without them, there probably would’ve been no wedding. I had the pleasure of working with Robyn Fallon. The other girls were always available, but boy did I get lucky with her! She felt like a best friend during those six months, but was so professional at the same time. She knew every single detail that needed to be dealt with, at a moments notice (things I would’ve never thought of). We had many video calls, but I began looking forward to them. She never complained or made me feel crazy for changing my mind 64828 times. I trusted her with my life at that point. She knew I didn’t like something before I even knew I didn’t like it. I gave her the reigns, and she NAILED everything. The design, the vendor coordination, the scheduling, etc etc etc.

They also use this platform that allows you to track everything, and it has every information a wedding could need. It made vendor shopping, budgeting, and communication so easy. I was never worried I was forgetting something. Some of my planning I was doing overseas, which did not make anything harder due to how accommodating she was. Keep in mind she’s also planning 47382 other weddings at the same time, but I felt like the only one.

Fast forward to the big day… it went perfect. I could cry thinking about it. She was checking in on us throughout the entire day / night making sure we had food, drinks, and reminding us to enjoy each moment. At one point she even hair sprayed my husbands hair because it was acting wild hahah. Our guests are STILL reaching out to us raving about how beautiful everything was. Robyn is an all-in-one super hero. I will never forget her!

Our experience with Robyn Fallon and her team at Ivory + Stone was nothing short of exceptional. Every step of the way, Robyn guided us and provided invaluable insights. Among her many strengths was Robyn’s ability to, not only connect us to her extensive network of first-class ‘vendors’ (florist, photographer, videographer, lighting, rentals, etc), but to act as our advocate and deftly negotiate contracts on our behalf. Her skills were particularly valuable in the negotiations with our venue, the Hotel del Coronado, with whom Robyn had not worked previously.

Robyn was particularly attuned to the bride and groom's overall vision for the wedding and she went out of her way throughout the process to support that vision. Robyn and the bride developed a very positive rapport. At the same time, Robyn listened well to my thoughts, and in a few cases - my concerns - and helped us navigate compromises that worked for us all.

Robyn is detail-oriented; utilizes an excellent customized on-line wedding planning tool; and creates schedules for everything from wedding planning to the timing of the day-of-wedding events. She is organized and she is an excellent communicator.

Finally, Robyn brings with her an extremely high quality team, every member of which is talented, efficient, helpful and personable. The shared goal of Robyn and her team is to flawlessly execute the wedding we desired. They succeeded and then some! I highly and enthusiastically recommend Ivory and Stone.
