Don’t even know how to thank Aly and the Sunshine Events Co team. Aly was seriously amazing. She made our wedding weekend a dream come true!! My now husband and I had an 8 month engagement so needless to say A LOT needed to get done. I instantly felt such a great sense of relief chatting with Aly for the very first time. She helped us every step of the way with her monthly tasks, detailed design and allll of the coordination. Her attention to detail was spectacular and her ability to help calm my nerves throughout the planning process was so helpful. She seriously made our Pinterest board come to life. The details were perfection. With Aly I felt like I was able to feel stress free the whole wedding weekend. I highly highly recommend not only having a wedding planner but hiring Aly!!! She was attentive and focused and so easy to work with. Need to have another event so I can work with Aly again!

I can't believe Christina and Ali helped me (who is not a native citizen, high maintenance, and probably have OCD with no patience 😛 ) organize such an amazing SoCal wedding. Christina had me at hello & made me want to get married every year. They realize an Asian girl's Hollywood/USA wedding dream.

They knew what I want/ need when I just opened my mouth. On my wedding day we communicated by eyes when we looked at each other. They are maybe true fairy godmothers.

You will be VERY surprise how could she be so efficient and get everything done faster than you! How resourceful and have good relationship with all vendors, but still stand by your side! I wish Christina could help assist everything in my life too 🙂

For groom to be- my husband said Christina is good from saying no to my ideas (cause he can't) and helping us manage the budget well (wink wink)

We booked Christina and her team with the "Month Of" package but her work starts far before that. We were able to meet with her about a year before the big day to talk about our timeline and budget. Her experience in the wedding industry and knowledge from working at our venue multiple times is invaluable. She was about to give great advice about how to work with our budget and was honest about things we did not need to spend money on. She was available to text throughout the whole year we were planning to answer any questions.
Christina really jumps in at the last month to wrangle the vendors together. On the day of the wedding, there was a team of 4 coordinators to make sure the day goes by smoothly.
I did not have to worry about a thing and all the coordinators were so bubbly and friendly to all our guests while keeping the day organized and on schedule. At the end of the night, all our belongings and valuables were safely packed up and my husband and I were able to go home with no worries.

We had the pleasure of working with Christina, Aly, Gabby, and Rachael for our wedding this past weekend and it was by FAR the best money that we spent on the entire day. Their team is thorough, organized, attentive, and kind. They helped bring my vision to life and kept things running smoothly (we were also somehow ahead of schedule the whole day which is practically unheard of!!). Christina was AMAZING! I hired her as my wedding planner once I had a theme in mind. I collected a variety of Pinterest favorites and she made it all come to life. My wedding was held at the beautiful Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano. You couldn't tell this was her first time working with the venue at all! She immediately made contact with all the appropriate directors of the club and managed to get everyone communicating with one another on a regular basis. One thing I really appreciate about Christina is her ability to organize and adapt to changes along the way. Another thing I really appreciated about Christina is her assertiveness and ability to keep everyone in check. Despite receiving a couple different “ideas” from family members, Christina always circled back to me and made sure I was on board with final decisions. The wedding day was magical and her touches and eye for detail made my romantic themed wedding really come to life!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIRING EVENTS BY THE CEA! Christina is AMAZING to work with, and so passionate about what she does. I recently got married, but hired Christina 7 months before the big day. Although she offers Day-Of or Month-Of packages, I decided that I needed all the help I could get. When I say she is there for you WHENEVER you need, I really mean it. I tried not to abuse it, but there were times I really needed her advice or help, and she responded almost right away. Christina is EXTREMELY kind, caring, responsive, professional, and very passionate about her work. She made our wedding day so special and was willing to go above and beyond to make us happy and stressed free. Although there were a few hiccups with our venue and our florist, Christina made sure that everything ran smoothly so that my husband and I would not know. In our eyes, the wedding was absolutely PERFECT and so beautiful. We had zero idea anything was going on, and Christina and her team deserve all of the credit for that. It is so evident how much pride and effort Christina puts into her work.

My mom and I would disagree over little things, but Christina was always there to help and make sure that in the end it was what I wanted and that I was happy. It is difficult to work with my mom as she is very particular and picky, however she LOVED Christina. My mom does not give compliments very easily or very often, but after the wedding she could not stop praising me on finding Christina, which made me feel really good because my mom is very critical of me. She could not stop talking about how amazing Christina was on the day of the wedding. She saw, first hand, just how hard Christina and her team were working.

Needless to say, I am SO appreciative that I found Christina as she was more than just a wedding planner to me, she also became a friend. I could ramble on about how amazing Christina and her team are, but you just need to experience it for yourself. HIRE HER! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! I promise you.

Where do I even begin? Christina was the best planner we could ever ask for. Her kindness, attention to detail, passion, creativity and genuine spirit are just some of my favorite things about her.

From our first meeting, my wife and I knew we made the right choice. She was SO sweet and genuine. She immediately wanted to know our long love story to capture a sense of us and help plan our dream wedding. From there, she consistently showed up for us. She answered all of our questions and provided so much tips and guidance for us. She made the last few months leading up to our wedding so much less stressful. I really don't know what we would have done without her and her team.

On our wedding, she not only made the day so efficient and seamless, but she was so emotionally supportive of my wife and I. There are a lot of nerves that go on when you are the bride and groom and she was our anchor. We really appreciated her attentiveness and kind heart.

Aside from Christina, her team was also amazing. They were so helpful and sweet. Overall, they did a stellar job!

I think that Sunshine Events is a perfect name, because Christina really is a ray of sunshine! If you are planning on hiring a wedding planner, book Christina. You will not regret it.

Christina, Aly, and the entire Sunshine team are true angels on earth. Christina helped me out as soon as I signed my contract with her 1.5 years out. She helped answer every question I had and helped look at contracts for me. Christina even helped me pick my wedding dress because I didn't want to show it to my bridesmaids!!! Christina was open to setting up check in meetings whenever I asked so that I could keep myself accountable on top of our already scheduled check ins. She also scheduled mock ups for us. It amazes me how much she is able to pick up our vision and run with it. It amazes me even more that even though she has multiple clients at once, we felt like we were her only client.

Aly was our lead planner on the day of and she also helped with the rehearsal dinner the night prior. We have a big Asian family and she navigated the language barriers FLAWLESSLY!! Aly arrived earlier than planned on our wedding day. We had a tea ceremony in the morning and even with the language barriers, she knew exactly what was going on and why things were happening. I was a deer in the headlights and she was keeping me updated all throughout! Now for our evening ceremony and reception, we were expecting rain so I was getting anxious and nervous. Aly reassured me through every second and made sure I felt comfortable no matter what the weather ends up being like. She was hyping us up for the rain!!! There were a few last minute changes that had to happen and she navigated it with such poise and positivity. As a bride, sometimes hearing "no" isn't exactly what we'd like to hear in that moment but looking back, oh boy I am so glad I listened to Aly. Our wedding was perfect and we can't thank the entire Sunshine Team enough. They helped design the space, unpack our inventory, packed up at the end (nothing was missed!), checked on us a lot, told us to breathe, ugh the list goes on. We are eternally grateful and can't wait for the next opportunity to work with them again.
