High Sierra is a great place to stock up on fishing gear and get the latest fishing tips/tricks for the area from Dan. My family has been going to this store for years and this is always our first stop in Lone Pine before we go fishing. Dan always seems to know what's hitting well in the local spots and what the trout are going for. We always take his advice and walk away with a few trout given his recommendations. Store is mostly fishing gear but they also have some cool Lone Pine clothing/hats for sale along with some outdoor/camping gear. Believe it's also only debit/cash. If you're in town at night be sure to check out the old neon sign atop the shop. Thing looks amazing all lit up at night!

It’s not often you meet someone as awesome as Dan! Stopped in on my way to try and recreate a fishing trip my dad had with me for my kids. Dan listened to what I was looking for, set me up, and let me in on some local spots! He also had some awesome stories! 10/10 will be back!

High Sierra outfitters is my go to for info, fly fishing and camping supplies in the Lone Pine area. The owner, Dan is amazing and his knowledge of the area is the best. If you’re just visiting or new to the area, make High Sierra your first stop. Five stars every time!

Best fishing advice in town! I was looking up to bring my kids fishing. Dan helped us from setting up the lines, choosing which baits to use, to knowing the good fishing spots around Lone Pine. My kids caught fishes on the first try! Thanks Dan!

Gentleman needs to have a bit more customer service. Bought a 10 day fishing license on Thursday and didn't explain season opens on Saturday.
