Central to many shops and food selections. The room is fresh and is cleaned very nicely. Decor is modern. The breakfast is delicious with tons of options for adults and kids. Staff is hospitable and eager to help. Parking is ample and surroundings are clean. Nearby to Piggly Wiggly & Walmart. Evacuated due to storm and felt comfortable each night. Troy is a college town with a tight nit community. I recommend this hotel for families & business. Conference room, gym, pool, fast wifi, modern Tv and complimentary printer.

Room was average. Like most Hampton Inns, it is getting dated and needs minor updates. Bed was comfy, room was clean and breakfast had plenty choices to pick from. Staff was helpful when checking in. I would stay again. |The funniest thing was having to pay for parking in Troy, Alabama. Trip Advisor has not been updated to state paid parking.

If i could leave no stars, i would. I booked here 2 months in advance for my son's college graduation. It was over $300 per night so i assumed it would be clean and comfortable. The first room they gave us, when we walked in it was already occupied. Beds unmade, dirty towels everywhere. I went back to tell the man at the front desk and he seemed shocked. He said they were fully booked. He said he would have to call his manager. after waiting over 10 minutes for him to come back we had to leave for graduation. We called for the next hour trying to get in touch with the hampton. After finally getting in touch with someone they said they found us a room. This room was awful. It was under construction and there was sheet rock dust everywhere. Unbelievable!! Never again!

This is a pet-friendly hotel. And the pet fee for 1-3 days was $75. I checked out after two nights but my bill reflected a pet fee for two days. When I asked the front desk about the fee, I was told I have to call Hilton reservations—that the front desk person had no control over that fee. However, Hilton told me the hotel controls that money. Hilton Billing trued to contact the hotel to resolve the issue. However, after 45 minutes of off-and-on hold time, Hilton told me they could give me 10,000 points which is the equivalent to $75. But since I do not plan to book with Hilton Hotels again, I asked for the money to be refunded, which I was advised could take 30 days! Hilton Billing said they would escalate the issue with the Hampton Inn Manager. For me, I’m done.

I just checked out yesterday with my mother, who recently turned 75. Unfortunately, she accidentally left some invaluable items from her birthday in the room. Less than 24 hours after our checkout, we realized her bag with these items were left in the room. When we called the hotel, the front desk staff checked the room but found nothing, and nothing had been turned in. We're very disappointed with the lack of a proper procedure for handling items left behind after guests check out.

It was a decent hotel until I got the bill. No one told me that I'd be charged $3.87 + tax for parking. The hotel's website and even this Tripadvisor site advertises "Free Parking" at this hotel. I tried to speak to the manager to question the false advertising, but she just happened to "step out" and didn't return my call the rest of the day. I believe her name is Kim Waters. The woman I did talk to explained that the owner of the hotel instituted this parking charge "last November but the website has yet to be changed."

Do NOT stay here….Kim Waters (the GM) is an absolute horror to work with! It’s a shame because it’s such a nice hotel, but whew…Kim changes the experience for you almost immediately! She always had a scowl on her face and never looked happy to be at work! She was so rude to her customers. I hate we had this experience, but Kim, if you’re reading this - Please be kinder. You made our trip way more difficult!

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend recently.
I always use a digital key when available, and this hotel was supposed to have one in the app. The digital key never uploaded to the app, so we had to check in the old fashioned way.
He attendant was there, but it would have been nice for a smile and some eye contact. Unfortunately that was the theme of the weekend with all staff we engaged.
The room and the hotel itself was clean.
The first morning, we found out the shampoo was out. We told the attendant, and we were happy to see that it was filled when we got back from our daily plans.
One of the queen beds was a little worn, as we sink into the middle. The other bed was fine.
The breakfast was standard fare for Hampton. Always glad to have a hot breakfast.
Not really a fan of having to pay for parking at this hotel.
In the end, there was nothing spectacular about this stay. It was an average stay.
