I just wanted all the people of Valley Grande to know: you're lucky to have this place. You may not even realize how lucky you are, but the guy that runs this place is not just an amazing operator, but a good man as well. He can't always control what price he buys at, but he sells it to you as cheap as he can. He's got some darn good people working for him too, and I have a feeling that's because of the good man he is.

Older store, but clean. Well stocked with reasonable prices. Employees helpful and friendly. This is an "at cost plus 10% markup plus tax" type grocery store. The shelf price is the "at cost" price.

The employees at Dave's are very nice, and always helpful. Customer service is top notch. The selection of food items is great; though sometimes it may not be the brand you're looking for. I can sometimes find items here that I can't find elsewhere in town. The prices are wonderful, though some are right around the same price as Wal-Mart but a small price to pay not having to deal with going to Wal-Mart. The meat selection is awesome and having a butcher shop in-house is where Dave's shine.

I absolutely LOVE this store!! I can always find what I need. I use to drive to the commissary at MAFB for groceries until I tried Dave’s! Prices are great, service is wonderful & they support local growers. My only complaint is that the aisles can get a little cramped when busy but I can deal with that.
