From the moment I arrived at the Hampton Inn & Suites Mission Viejo, I was thoroughly impressed. This property exemplifies the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and outstanding service, making my stay an absolute delight.

The hotel’s design is modern yet warm, creating an inviting atmosphere as soon as you step through the doors. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a genuine smile. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout my stay.

The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity. The plush bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep, while the well-appointed bathroom added a touch of luxury to the experience. I particularly appreciated the in-room amenities, which included a coffee maker and a mini-fridge—small touches that make a big difference.

Breakfast was a highlight of my visit. The complimentary offerings were diverse and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh fruit, hearty hot dishes, or a quick grab-and-go option, the Hampton Inn has you covered.

I booked a room here for my boyfriend’s birthday since it is close to Laguna beach and relatively affordable with nice amenities. Unfortunately, by my mistake, I booked the room for the wrong night and because it was a special rate for Hilton honors guests, due to policy there were no modifications or refunds. After attempting to resolve the issue with the front desk and Hilton honors customer service, the next morning I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Michael who was extremely helpful in moving the reservation to the correct date.

We were extremely grateful, however, after arriving at the hotel we noticed a neighboring guest must have had a dog in their suite who was very upset because it was barking and howling non-stop. After me and my boyfriend went to dinner and came back, it was well after 9pm and unfortunately the dog was still loudly barking and howling. I’m usually not one to complain but we did call the front desk to see if they could speak with the owner. Brian, who was working the front desk, attempted to speak with the pets owner and offered to move us to a suite to be away from the noise. Our experience was great and the staff really went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend 🙂

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the Hampton Inn Mission Viejo. Despite the brand's reputation and the promise of a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," my experience was far from satisfactory. ?

First and foremost, I called ahead to confirm there would be no security deposit required, as my wife was traveling for a family emergency and needed to budget carefully. I was assured there would be no deposit, yet upon arrival, she was unexpectedly charged a $200 deposit. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience during an already difficult time. ?

The room itself was equally problematic. The bathroom featured barn doors with no locks, facing the beds, which compromised privacy significantly. This is not only unconventional but completely unacceptable. My wife was moved to another room, but it still had the same problematic barn doors, leaving her uncomfortable throughout the stay. ? Such a lack of basic privacy is unheard of and should have been clearly disclosed on the hotel’s website.

Additionally, the hallway on the second floor had extremely poor ventilation, making it unbearably hot. This added to the overall discomfort of the stay. ?️

The most frustrating part is that when I raised these issues with the front desk employee, Stephanie, I was told I would need to speak with a supervisor later, as she did not have the authority to address my concerns. This is a direct contradiction to the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," which states that any team member should be able to make things right. I am hoping that the supervisor, Kricia Maldonado, will better reflect the superior quality of customer service that a Hilton property is known for. ?

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns, and this experience was a severe letdown. For a stay that cost $1217.20, the quality and service were grossly inadequate. I expected much better from a Hilton brand. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this property. ?

Good: Location was perfect for our needs. It's surrounded by car dealerships, parking lots are well-lit. A newer hotel. Beds were comfortable. Staff was competent, but I got the feeling they didn't like their jobs very much. It showed.||Bad: Took anywhere from 30 sec to 2 minutes to get warm water to start running in the shower. Breakfast was a tribute to ultra-processed foods. Pool is small and had what looked to be hair at the bottom of it. I understand that the "market" in a hotel is going mark up prices, but $10 for a 1.5 liter bottle of water is pretty insane.||Considering what the room costs, I was expecting more.

I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights and cannot say enough about the service and staff. Always very kind and helpful in every way. The room was clean and very comfortable. I was able to rest and had a nice pillow selection. Free parking is always a plus anywhere in California. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We did a quick family trip and I had already paid for my rooms weeks ago. Got to the hotel and they said I had to do a deposit of $250 for each rooms I got 2 rooms so $500 I didn’t know I had to put down!!! I was kinda pissed off about that! But I was to tired to deal with that. I got to my room and the door is broken I told my husband to tell the front desk he didn’t get a response. I did tell them when we finally left 2days later. Also breakfast was HORRIBLE it was like pulling teeth for them to refill everything we literally had to wait there. I would’ve thought with all the money I put down they would have it together.?

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. When I approached the reception staff with some questions, they completely ignored me and turned away to do other things. These people shouldn’t work in hospitality. The rooms are dated and the air conditioning doesn’t cool effectively. To top it off, the bathroom smelled awful. I would not recommend staying here.
