I was with this company for about two months. The interview was unprofessional in itself. Samantha, the recruiter, didn’t even hardly look at me. She was to quick and busy hiring me before interviewing me. They hired at 19.50. Two months into the job, I got hurt. The temp location, which was the Sheraton, didn’t allow me to work minimally, so I was just at home. HSS urgent care and contracted medical facilities, are extremely unprofessional. Sheratons wouldn’t see me at all because I wasn’t a Sheraton employee. I sat in that Urgent Care in pure pain and panic, with no assistance offered, for 1 hour and 24 minutes. I wasn’t paid for a full five days of injury, because my first visits were televisit. A process HSS requires. During this time, HSS staff, HR, and Samantha were extremely careless towards their employee. On disability, I was paid less in two weeks , then I would have been paid in One week of working on regular salary. I was hired as full time. The disability company shared that HSS and the Sheraton only provided them with hours worked. I have been financially struggling for almost two months. Today my doctor clears me to go back to work. I share this information with Recruiter Samantha. She calls me with another person to shadow the call, and shared that even though the doctor cleared me, my Temp position had let me go DURING my disability leave and didn’t need that contract filled any longer. She knew this since December , and NEVER shared it with me, until today. (Legality issue) Samantha then offered to downgrade my pay from $19.50, to $15, claiming HSS has the right to change “Hired On” pay rates depending on contracts they pick up. Neither of this information is listed in my hire paperwork, which she was not able to justify. So after being out of work for almost 2 months, I have no job to go to during a pandemic. HSS is horrible. This is a legal issue. They just want employees. They don’t want to respect you.
