We went on a day when they were drag racing, having a swap meet and a car show, so we got the full awesome experience. I love that you can pull right up to the fence and park and watch the races. They are also very spectator friendly, so you could practically get right up to the track. The bathrooms were clean?

Holiday is an 1/8 mile drag strip. However on this visit it was a festival. The town Woodstock had a music festival and holidays had a 27 year anniversary. The bands were #sugar cane Jane, #3 dollar voodoo, #Georgia thunderbolts, #Colt Ford , and #lost and found. They had a few vendors and supporters including the mayor of Woodstock Jeff Dodson who also preformed a song with 3 dollar voodoo and also was the mc for the event. Looking forward to next years event.

This place has been here since the mid 60's. Lots of racing done here. About time to redo the burnout boxes as they are getting holes in them and cracks but other than that. A great place to spend time with kids, family and cars.

Once in my life I went there every time to gate was open ,I think the facilities are improving, the raceway needs "a voice in the tower terribly" to create excitement " ! this was a special JJ arm drop event so I'm not certain if that had anything to do with it but the time between passes where real long and not many competitors in the field and seemed a little disorganized. They let people pay $100 a ticket to stand around the starting line next to JJ and block the view of everyone else ,you couldn't see the burnouts . I'm not certain it's fair for me to review on just one visit in several years but I will give you an update in the future . On the plus side it was very clean ,people were super friendly and overall I had a good night out talking and laughing with my fellow gear heads . I would have loved to of gotten in that booth and created a little excitement for the fans between passes if anyone up there is listening give me a call.
