In deciding to be local tourist we booked the Gaslamp Quarter & Embarcadero Coast tour (afternoon) What a GREAT experience!!! If you’re lucky enough to have Hugh as your guide then you’re going to have the best of the best. We actually loved the Segway so much that a few weeks later we booked the Balboa Park & Downtown tour (morning). Again, Hugh was our guide and the BEST part, it was an “exclusive” tour because it was just us three. Hugh, my fiancé and I just touring the city and the beauty of Balboa Park. If you’re looking for something to do and want to see as much as you can of this city, I highly suggest one of these tours and Hugh as your guide. You won’t regret it and your feet won’t hurt from walking hours on end. Happy Segway-ing!

Segway is a fun way to browse and scout the city while having fun! Within 2 minutes, one can learn how to ride them (including people who love to announce their clumsiness)

The machine will self balance and not let you pass a speed. Just give it a try! Worth it! The tour is fun and you can also quickly plan your next few days thanks to the tour.

We had a great time on the Balboa Park tour. If I had any advice, I would have liked even more info/history of the city, but my teenage daughter thought this was the perfect blend of Segway riding and info.

The Segway tour was the most fun me and my wife had in a long time, our instructor and tour guide was very patient and helpful he made it so easy to learn how to ride and enjoy the segways the tour was definitely worth the money and time.
I am sorry I can't remember my guide but thank you.
We look forward to doing the segway tour when we return to San Diego for our next vaca/ anniversary

My husband and I had a great experience on this tour! We had an awesome tour guide named Ivan, and he took us around to touristy spots we had not been to yet, but also to cool places around San Diego that we would not have gone to potherwise. He gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do and he was a fun guide. Ivan took us to beautiful places and he even took our picture various times. He was a very fun guide!
