Couldn’t have been happier with Lost Anchor Cabins! Interacted with Kevin several times and he’s a fantastic guy. I work in Alaska and finally got my family up to visit. We stayed for 4-5 days in the Redoubt Cabin and it was great the whole time! There are bald eagles everywhere which is super cool. Beach access isn’t far at all and the view across the bay of the Alaska Peninsula is unbeatable. Kevin recommended a fishing charter out of Homer and we limited out on halibut and rockfish and had a blast. If you’re looking for a cool, clean, and unique place to stay near Homer but also removed and private, this is the place. Thanks to Kevin and his family, y’all do a great job!

What a wonderful place to stay for your Alaskan adventure! The cabins are comfortable and well equipped, the grounds are beautiful, and the views are unbelievable. After a day spent hiking or fishing, come back to relax in the hammock to the sound of waves lapping at the beach or cozy up next to the fire pit in the cabana. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful place! We stayed in the Fourpeaked Cabin with family from Colorado. It doesn't quite sleep four the way we expected, but would be great for 2 adults and 2 kids. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Water views and a large grassy area, where we played lawn games and watched eagles soar. The decor in the cabin shows how detailed the owners are in creating the Alaska experience. Well stocked kitchen meant we got to eat from real plates in the middle of a camping trip, and the huge gas grill made our seafood feast easy. Next time we go back, we will definitely also book a salmon or halibut charter (or both!) with the company the owners also run. We didn't want to leave... this place was perfect for us!

Lost Anchor Cabins is an absolutely amazing property. We stayed in the Douglas cabin which was great. The views were like nothing I've ever seen. Bald Eagles flying right outside the deck. Sunsets over the ocean. Owners are very friendly and super helpful with everything. Absolutely will return.

We stayed in the "redoubt" cabin and what a beautiful place! Super comfortable for many people to stay in. Spectacular views, beautifully decorated in fishing theme.

We utilized the stove, grill, porch, loft, found our way down to the beach and had a walk on the beach.

Can't say enough positive about our experience in this cabin.

The beds in the loft were a tad uncomfortable to me, but everyone has their preference. And honestly I've slept in full service hotel beds I didn't love either.

Short drive through beautiful country to get to homer if you are on a charter (approx 30 mins of travel)

We did not utilize the central gathering location, but if you had a big group, it would be a great place to have a drink, and catch up on the day's events and gather around a cozy fire.
