Shari and her team did such an amazing job for our May 2024 wedding (we hired her for month of coordination and used her waitstaff team as well)! From our first communication with Shari, she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, easily accessible, and truly went above and beyond. When we faced a crisis with one of our vendors (to no fault of Shari at all), she stepped in to help us navigate the next steps, providing excellent recommendations for new vendors. She also offered recommendations for any other vendors we still needed to book, always responding promptly and in an organized manner.

Shari also has an inventory of different items (signs, dessert platters/stands, etc.) that you are free to use, which was very helpful to us. She also gives you access to a wedding planning tool, Aisle Planner, which was extremely useful in the planning process. It kept our vendors, budget, guest list, seating chart, and more organized, making the planning process much smoother. Shari was proactive in finding ways to save us money, offering discounts with Minted and the rental company, and even adjusting delivery and pickup days to save us a few hundred dollars. Her assistant, Brittany, was amazing as well and we loved working with her! She was very attentive to our needs and overall a joy to work with.

I wholeheartedly recommend Shari and her team to anyone! We fully trusted her to execute our vision and make any game-day decisions necessary. Several of our guests commented that this was the most well-planned and organized wedding they had ever attended. The entire Events by Wise team provided an all-around great experience, making us confident in their professional and experienced service.

Just had Shari help with the planning of my wedding on October 13th. We had her help us with planning for the month of the wedding, and I truly can't imagine not having her there. She helped us stay organized, presented us with great new ideas, and left us with the freedom we wanted to keep in specific areas. We can’t say enough about how phenomenal Shari is! We initially decided to purchase a full-service wedding planning package because we live out of state and were looking for guidance planning our wedding at The Maples. From our first conversation, Shari was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also enthusiastic about bringing our unique vision to life.

We had regular Zoom meetings throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Shari was always incredibly prepared and patient with us when we changed our minds on details. (We left every single call feeling more excited and somehow not stressed at all!) One thing we loved was that whenever we brought Shari ideas or inspo photos, she was able to translate those into tangible ideas/vendors and gather all of the pricing and logistical info for us to make a final decision. She made the daunting work of planning a big event feel EASY.

Our wedding came together beautifully and was truly the best day of our lives. Because we had so much trust and respect for Shari, we didn’t worry about a single detail other than being in the moment and enjoying the day. In fact—we only found out later that our bakery forgot(!) to deliver our wedding cake. She handled that situation behind the scenes like an absolute pro and before we knew anything was amiss, the cake was in place.

Shari and her EBW team were phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough. She is the venue coordinator for Lone Wulff Ranch in Davis (our venue) as well. She was attentive, very responsive, well organized, and overall made planning a wedding much less stressful. During our wedding, Shari and her staff were always checking in on us and making sure we had our drinks filled. They were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend EBW for any of your life events! Also, the Dixie Horse Trailer (our bar) was super cute and such a fun touch to our wedding.

I had the most wonderful experience working with Events by Wise. I booked the horse trailer for the bar and had two other events staff working during our wedding at the Lone Wulff Ranch. We had the most AMAZING time! The bar was incredible and we loved our bartenders and the staff! They were all smiles, super helpful and were laughing with our guests and just having themselves a great time! Shari was also super helpful when I had questions about vendors recommendations and last minute details concerning the wedding. Shari and her team are amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about Events By Wise! I reached out to Shari almost exactly a year before our wedding to see if she was available. One of the things that instantly drew me to Shari was her warm personality and her obvious love for weddings. I didn’t feel like just another client, but that I met with someone who genuinely wanted our wedding day to go as smoothly as possible.

I hired her as our Month of Coordinator almost immediately after meeting with her. She provided us with all the tools necessary to set us up for wedding planning success and even reached out about COVID restrictions throughout the planning. She was extremely easy to get a hold of and got back to all of our questions quickly.

Unfortunately, Shari wasn’t able to join us due to another wedding commitment (we missed celebrating with you!), but left us in the hands of Lindsey, who flawlessly executed all the plans that I had discussed with Shari. Lindsey was always on the move, making sure that things were going smoothly, and that we had everything we needed. Thank you to the whole Events By Wise team! We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

I want so badly to leave a good review, but I can’t. We tried reaching out after the wedding to go over some of this stuff but sadly, got zero response.
Per the contract for month of coordination all of our vendors were suppose to talk to our wedding coordinator unless it was specific questions for us or payment details. Let me put it this way, my florist was calling me the day of the wedding with an emergency as I was putting on my dress and didn’t even know I had a wedding coordinator.
Vendors had contacted us all month about layout and urgently needing a timeline
There was a situation with the arch and she reached out to the groom of all people, to come fix it an hour before the ceremony as he’s getting dressed taking pictures with his friends and family.
I had no one meet me when I arrived and had to spy on the ceremony to lead myself in which seemed silly when it was discussed the day before at the rehearsal who would be where.
We got no pictures with my family after the ceremony because there was zero coordination and everyone took off. My mom ended up getting heat stroke from standing in the precession line so long and only made it to the ceremony. Honestly the most heartbreaking thing I can never get back from this whole event: not having pictures with my mom on my wedding day. ?.
During our dances at the end of the night, the coordinator told the band it was time for the first dance song (which had already happened) and we were already on to the father daughter dance.
Guests had let her know the waters were empty and at bare minimum she could have let catering know, or one of the 10 staff we hired to refill, but instead she pointed to a different area that “probably” has water in it.
She took our marriage license after the wedding, which was not signed by the officiant and while we were on our honeymoon ended up having to coordinate for her to meet him to get it signed.
Some of our vendors were not even contacted by her which she said she would do to give them a run down and assure they were dialed.
The day of our wedding the layout wasn’t what we originally planned on between us and her, and when asked if we could tweak a small change her only response was “wherever you put it is where it shall stay”. But we hired ten people to work for her and do these types of things, literally all she needed to do was delegate.
The tables were set and decor was already set up by all of our family & friends when she arrived, they were also the only ones who knew which decor went in the right places.
She did have one really sweet assistant Lindsey, who was pretty much by our side the entire day always checking in on us, letting us know what was happening and when. She even helped find fishing line to help fix my extra dress when it ripped!
