New River Park is a really good little neighborhood park that I like to take my grandchildren to. It is within walking distance from our home. The only bad thing I can say about the park is that the bathroom is not open all the time. With little kids naturally once we get walk down to the park they have to go to the bathroom and then if the little Shack is not open then we have to turn around and walk 10 minutes back to the house to go potty. But it's a wonderful park outside of that. I love the fact that it's so close to where I live and my grandkids love playing on the toys there. There's benches and lots of shade trees, lots of grass area to play... but be advised it is a small park, a very small park!

Above above average Park nothing fancy very well capped lots of greenery it's good to bring your kids to play ball they soccer kick the ball around really nothing much else to do besides that plenty of parking on a good day and seems to be not too crowded so you can bring your kids so they can run around with plenty of room to spare

Went there so my kids could ride bikes and we threw the frisbee around for a bit. I wish people would pick up after their dogs though. My son pulled his bike onto the grass a ran right through a pile of dog poo, because somebody was too lazy to clean up after their dog. Smh

This park is located away from the main streets in the middle of the neighborhood,it has a small playground, some picnic tables and I believe some BBQs,,it has a lot of trees and there's a path that goes around the playground to what I've always known as the green bldg which has arts and craft s and some games to play with and when the building is open it is also the only time the restrooms are open,I give it 5 stars because I grew up in this neighborhood in fact my mom's water broke at this park right before I was born so I guess I have a connection to it

Go up
