We used Ivy Hill Entertainment for find a band for a company event. We appreciated that we could review the available artists/bands, watch videos and select who we thought would be the best fit for our event. We hired Tim Marconette and the band was amazing! Everyone loved the music, the song selections were perfect and the vibe they created was exactly what we were looking for. We really appreciated that the guys were prompt and professional. We would absolutely hire them again for another event and found working with Ivy Hill seamless and professional as well.

Ivy Hill is amazing! Not only are they an incredible company with a great mission, but they also are super easy to work with, extremely responsive and helpful, and their musicians are amazingly talented. My husband and I were lucky to have Tim Maconett play guitar and sing during our ceremony/cocktail hour and then DJ during the wedding. Tim was kind enough to work with me on my vision of walking down the aisle to a romantic version of Foxy Lady 🙂 and also to help us setup our first dance as the dance from Pulp Fiction. He totally read the room and we loved the music he chose for the reception. He stuck to our choices from the music survey, which we appreciated! With Ivy Hill, we didn't get a cheesy wedding DJ, we had an ACTUAL musician who is insanely talented (at our wedding! I can't get over it!). We were also extremely lucky to have Paul Thomas from The Sound Objective as our dedicated engineer throughout the entire event. We couldn’t have gotten through the event without him! He was wonderful! Leading up to the wedding, the Ivy Hill staff was a pleasure work with. We really appreciate Tim, Paul and the Ivy Hill staff for making our day even more special than we could've imagined!

We loved working with Ivy Hill Entertainment for our wedding on July 1. They did the music and lights for us and we were so happy with their work. Matt Roads was our main contact and one of our two DJs for the evening. He went above and beyond and did two site visits with us, which put us at great ease as we did a backyard wedding and were concerned about layout and electricity. We felt totally comfortable in his hands and he delivered! He was a very calming person to work with and was always happy to collaborate and answer questions throughout the process. He and DJ Marshall DJ'd the wedding and did and awesome job. They totally understood what were going for in the various soundscapes of the evening and supplemented our music choices amazingly. They got everyone dancing and were very good at making sure all generations felt comfortable and supported. I also love that Ivy Hill is all about supporting local musicians and it's not a way to just throw money at the wedding industry. Their attention to detail and personalizing the experience made this a wonderful experience, and we are so happy we went with them. They were just so nice and capable and cooperative, which was a real blessing during wedding planning. Support your local artists and book Ivy Hill! You won't be disappointed.

Ivy Hill was so great to work with for our ceremony music. Our New Classics string duo of Terre and team played absolutely beautiful music, both classical and modern twists. Paul’s audio engineering ensured every last moment was heard and captured. Wesley, Matt, and Danielle were so easy to plan and communicate through planning our event. 100% recommend for your event!

Brian and the Ivy Hill Team were amazing on our wedding day and welcome party. From the jazz at cocktail hour, to the lively music at dinner - Brian's team of musicians did a wonderful job at creating a great atmosphere. On top of that, everyone had the best time dancing to the band at our after party! I would highly recommend them to all my friends 🙂

Ivy Hill was great to work with. They have a great group of local artists to work with, and were flexible in allowing us to change from one to another further in the process. They also were really receptive to our specific requests about song choices with the live music and the DJ. When we gave them freedom to choose, they did so in a way that fit the mood we described very well. All in all, I'd highly recommend Ivy Hill.

Ivy Hill put a trio together for my younger brother's memorial gathering. I'm not sure they had been asked to do a gig like this before, but they were incredibly professional, accommodating, sensitive - and the music was absolutely great. I'm not sure I could have gotten through the event without them. In the booking process, the communication was fantastic, and they delivered on their promise, as far as arrival, set-up, and playlist. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Ivy Hill just provided the entertainment for our annual Day on the Bay community event and they were fabulous! The performers were talented, enthusiastic, and professional and the show went off without a hitch. Moreover, the communication and planning process was excellent -- from booking to billing, they are organized, responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
