Working with AnnieLaurie and Tori Keck was a pleasure—they were attentive and made sure I always felt taken care of. The service was excellent, and the food was truly outstanding, both at our tasting and on our wedding day. PSC also handled all our rentals and brought our vision to life beautifully. Sonoma County is fortunate to have so many good caterers bit an excellent catering staff is not always the case. Their food is everything you expect it to be and so much more. Fresh, flavorful, presented artistically, if you can dream it up they can make it for you. BUT here is the difference their staff is over the top amazing. Everyone of the staff is courteous , professional, clean and efficient. That is what you would expect but this business goes beyond that. If there is a problem be it venues problem, an unruly or emotional guest, a mishap of anything type. You will not know it took place. They work their magic and deal with it. Your event will go off seamlessly.

TL;DR We are SO fortunate and grateful for the incredible team at Preferred Sonoma. We loved them from the moment we had our tasting, every single guest raved about the food at our wedding, and the staff is truly unparalleled. Huge huge thank you and highest recommendations.

We hired Preferred Sonoma in 2020 after going to about 4-5 other caterers for tastings. Not only was the food at Preferred Sonoma the best by a mile, but Karen, Tori, and Edie made the experience amazing and the prices were extremely reasonable. I could tell from the very beginning that this team truly cared about delivering the best experience and highest quality to us and they prioritized staying within our budget while doing so. They fully understood my vision from the get go and executed to perfection.

The night of the wedding, every single guest pulled me aside to tell me how it was the best food they've had at a wedding, how they never had to wait long for the servers to come around with passed appetizers, their cups were full with wine, and how wonderful the staff was. Not to mention, I was also blown away by the gorgeous plating of all the main courses and the stationed bounty table (charcuterie). Preferred Sonoma overdelivered in every single category: service, appearance, taste, etc. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them and we could not recommend them enough. They are the best of the best.

Of course, you're wondering what we had that was SO good:

- Mushroom spring rolls (the highlight - everyone loved!)
- Bounty Harvest charcuterie (Amazing!!! and they kept it fully stocked throughout cocktail hour so it always looked beautiful and untouched, despite people chowing down)
- Chimichurri Steak
- truffle mushroom ravioli
- Parmesan truffle popcorn

SIMPLY AMAZING! We can't say enough praises on how wonderful Amber, Edie, and the entire team at PSC are. We got married at the Secret Gardens and knew that we wanted a caterer familiar with the quirky setup of the venue. This team is the one to hire! We knew we were in good hands from the beginning; Edie was super helpful and very responsive, and Amber made the entire process easy, seamless, and fun. In fact, they were so fantastic that we asked them to caterer our brunch on the bluffs the following day.

The FOOD! Our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was at the wedding. I work in hospitality and know how difficult it is to run a banquet event and to maintain the food quality. We had two passed apps, the bounty cheese & fruit display and added charcuterie; two types of salads family style, and a full buffet with chicken, braised beef, farro, veggies, and ravioli (these were mouth-watering). For dessert, we had their classy cups and s'mores, and asked that they assist to set up our cookie table (hometown tradition). Not only did everything look great, but it tasted even better. We've already had a couple of friends reach out for recommendations!

A huge THANK YOU to this entire team - you've exceeded our expectations. If we can give a better rating, we would. We highly recommend PSC, and suggest that you contact them if planning an event in or around the Sonoma/Petaluma/Bodega Bay area. They will be the first ones we call should we host an event that way again.

Preferred catered our wedding over Labor Day weekend. They were great! Not only was the food delicious, but they were able to accommodate (and suggest improvements on) all of our menu preferences. Very responsive and organized throughout the lead-up to the wedding, and consummate professionals during the event itself.
