My band were performing ,we've played this venue a few times ,the staff were very welcoming ,it was an easy set up ,the sound engineer got our sound just right ,making it an enjoyable experience for us and the audience . I highly recommend this venue ,it's a bit out of the way but well worth a visit .

If it's your 1st time at Arches, one may feel like fish ? out of water (figure of speech) briefly. That feeling goes away within minutes by the friendliness and down to earth bar staff as well as other music fans. Young ones glued to their mobiles, middle aged dancing and the oldies, mingling. If you love heavy metal or ska, this is the place to be. Go to Arches, get out of your comfort zone, it's a place to meet interesting people of all ages, colour and culture. If you are into loop music ( repetitive computer manufactured), this is not the place for you. Drinks are reasonably priced. I will be back to test the limits of my ear drums. Great place! I would recommend.

Great place , venue is small, bar is reasonably priced, staff are friendly, the door price is sensible and there are bands on every weekend . Why is this place not rammed every Saturday, probably because the only way to find it is via Facebook ! I hate Facebook. A www. Page would be the preference fir people like me who do t have Facebook, instagram , twitter or whatever else . Everyone can get to a www. And link it google maps . You only have to maintain one page either upcoming events . Love the place just wish more people knew about it .

Fabulous place out of the town so we've never seen any trouble. Great bands. Small well stocked bar. The main events room is a perfect size to create a great atmosphere. They do a great breakfast at a reasonable price. Not been for any snooker but they have some well known stars there.

Great place. Good bar prices, lovely staff. Great sound and big love to Callum, their young sound engineer. Great job.
