We got married at the Greyhound on the Test this summer and had the most amazing day. The setting is beautiful and Wilds were brilliant. Sophie was great throughout the planning process and everything went perfectly on the day. All the staff were fantastic and the food was incredible - Phil created the perfect menu for a relaxed summer wedding. We would absolutely recommend Wilds ❤️

Where shall we start !! At the beginning ……
Sophie’s calm professional manner when we first spoke at the greyhound ( highly recommended ) made us feel at ease and confident that she could deliver.

We were not disappointed ! Consistent updates, top notch suppliers , wonderful tasting sessions and visits to the incredible florist.

On the day of our wedding , Sophie put our minds at ease and was a step ahead at every turn which was amazing, as the team flipped around the same room 3 times throughout the day seamlessly.

We held our wedding reception at the Greyhound on the Test in June 2024, led by the incredible Sophie of WILDS Events management. Every element of the day was perfect, from the ceremony to the decor to the delicious food. Sophie carefully navigated us through the planning, making some fantastic recommendations along the way and was with us on the day, seeing to every detail in her calm and effortless way. We'd recommend the amazing team at WILDS who pulled together the perfect wedding for us! A big thanks to Lucy for the fishing on the day of our wedding which was perfect and a huge shout out to Sophie who was calm, patient and professional at all times! Thanks team WILDS!!

I cannot recommend Sophie and her team highly enough for event planning. We hosted our wedding at my parents' house, and they truly elevated every aspect of the day. From the delicious canapés to the stunning Aperol table, and the incredible food, they went above and beyond our expectations. Sophie herself is an absolute pleasure to work with—remarkably organised, yet she brings such a calming presence that you never sense any stress. Thanks to their hard work and attention to detail, our day was nothing short of perfect. We are endlessly grateful.

The biggest thank you to Sophie, Lucy and the rest of the Wilds team for an absolutely perfect wedding. Everything was stunning. They guided us through the whole process calmly and with kindness and were very adaptable given our short timeline. None of my idiosyncratic requests was made to feel beyond the realm of possibility, the whole team thought creatively about how to realise the ideas in our head on budget.

On the big day Wilds paid careful attention to all the tiniest details, and were cool and professional with all the big stuff. Neither of us had to think about anything other than having a great time. We loved the sharing menu and had so many comments about how delicious the food was, how much of it there was and how seasonally sensitive it was. The canapés were phenomenal too. We wish we could do it all again!

We could not recommend WILDS events more! They set-up, catered and hydrated (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for our tipi wedding, with guests saying it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and the food was the best they’d tasted.
Sophie listened to us, gave us ideas and was an absolute pleasure to work with from day one. She put us completely at ease all the way up to the wedding day so we could enjoy every single moment!
On the day, Sophie, Zak, Phil and the team made sure everything was perfect and there was not a single thing we would change about the day. They took our vision of delicious, seasonal sharing platters, of guests passing food between them paired with delicious wine and more than delivered - it was so special to sit (enjoying our own food and wine) and watch our nearest and dearest enjoy it all.

The Wilds team hosted a wonderful 3-course wedding day lunch for us at our home. Sophie has been fantastic to work with and organiser, and the chef Phil made us some incredible food. Would highly recommend them and will definitely be booking with them again soon!

We cannot recommend Wilds Events and The Greyhound on the Test enough. The team hosted an intimate wedding for us and the entire experience was faultless.

From the moment we met Claire, she made us feel special, put us at ease, understood our vision for the day and made the entire planning experience a joy. At no point was there any of the stress you might expect with organising a wedding.

On the day, every detail was perfect.

Claire, Bex and the entire team at The Greyhound were so attentive throughout the day of our wedding and the morning after. They made all our guests feel welcome, like no request was an issue.

The Garden Inn provided beautiful flowers, transforming the already beautiful pub for our ceremony, and the Wilds/Greyhound team did an incredible job seamlessly resetting the restaurant between our ceremony and breakfast, whilst our guests enjoyed drinks and "the best canapes they'd ever eaten" in the bar.

All food provided by Phil and the kitchen team was exceptional. Our guests were all wowed by the wedding breakfast, which was local, seasonal and brought out in a sharing style which got everyone stuck in.

Rooms at The Greyhound are beautiful and comfortable, it was such a treat being able to get ready and stay at the pub that also hosted our ceremony and reception. We were so grateful to be able to remove all travel from our day. The riverside also provided the most beautiful backdrop for our photos.

We can't thank Wilds Events and The Greyhound enough for delivering our dream wedding of an intimate and elevated afternoon in the pub with our nearest and dearest.
