Had to park down the road and step over a fence to see the place. It is locked up and monitored remotely by the city. There are a few cracks in the door that allow you to peek inside. Found evidence of some kind of ritual preformed in front of the building. This place is supposed to be haunted by something that will follow you home. Tried a little provocation but no results. Hopefully the city will restore this place and unlock its doors to the public.

Could only drive by from the off ramp...the house is completely fenced off. I experienced a very eerie feeling. We drove a little bit down the road to see there is a tree that has torn articles of clothing wrapped around it and lit candles underneath. Some type of ritual maybe?

Grew up about 30 mins away in San Ardo. Gave me the creeps passing by as a kid driving on 101 ....still trips me out till this day. My dad used to tell me stories about this place....

Sadly, abandoned and under city control to deal with a bad pest problem. This is a California Historical site and its state made me a bit sad.

Just tried to visit in 8/2021. Still completely fenced off and inaccessible. The only view you get is from the Southbound off ramp, but there's nowhere to stop anywhere near the building. How disappointing. Why is this not a thing you can at least take pics of? Possibly even walk round?
