We had a fabulous day in San Diego with Julie! We recently visited San Diego for the first time. We hired Julie for a private tour on our first full day in the city. We were not disappointed! Before our arrival, Julie called to discuss the details of our tour and got a feel for what we might be interested in seeing. She planned a custom tour designed specifically for our family. We were able to see many parts of the city, landmarks, and beautiful scenic locations all in a day. Julie was extremely knowledgeable about the city and it's history. She took us to many well-known locations as well as some out of the way places we would have never known about! If you are looking for a custom tour of San Diego definitely hire Julie!

Julie is a wonderful tour guide. She's so personable and knows so much about the area. Not just the nature, but the history and the culture as well. We learned a ton about San Diego. We wanted a more "local" experience so she took us on three lovely nature walks, each one of them was very different and they were all very hidden (yet right in the middle of the city). One of them was along the ocean, one of them was in a palm studded canyon, and the other one was a private gorgeous nature preserve.
We loved our time with her and we highly recommend taking a tour with her!

Julie's Tour

I was in San Diego for a convention recently.  I contacted Julie about a tour of Balboa Park and also wanted to see some other other places outside of the park, including unique architecture.

She was SO knowledgeable and enthusiastic with a passion for sharing the history of San Diego. She told me about the history of the park's creation, of the “Mother” of the park, Kate Sessions, the Old Globe, Spreckels Organ Pavilion, the Zoo, Spanish Village, all tied in with the creation of San Diego. And she wowed me with some of the other architecture in the area plus a couple of secret spots that she surprised me with. Sorry, I cannot tell you what they are, because they are secret!  But if you book a tour with her, she will take you there.

I throughly enjoyed every minute. I feel I know more about San Diego than my hometown of Chicago. I totally recommend a tour with Julie. I look forward to exploring more of San Diego with Julie on my next trip to San Diego.

Julie has gone above and beyond our expectations. This was the best tour we have ever experienced. She gave us a lot of useful tips before and after the tour and was helpful and responsive which saved us a lot of time for planning our visit. Julie is extremely knowledgeable guide.
