Our walking tour with JB Walking Tours was a gift. One of the best gifts I’ve ever received!! Julie was very kind, professional and so knowledgable. My husband is a SF native and even he learned a lot. Experiencing the presidio on walking tour was so special. It would be a nice walk on your own but having a guide allowed us to learn so much more than we would have from simply reading signs or a guide book. I highly recommend JB Walking Tours! If you enjoy walking, history and stunning views you will not be disappointed by this amazing tour. We did the 2 hour Presidio Tour. Thank you for a delightful afternoon, Julie.

Fascinating tour of the Presidio by expert Julie Brown. My guess is most locals don’t even know about the history here and how it affected the development of San Francisco. We highly recommend this tour not only for the historical perspective, but the beauty of this painstakingly preserved army post that is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Views of the bridge, bay, and city are stunning. It’s a peaceful respite away from hubbub of the city.

This was a wonderful tour of the Presidio and the new Tunnels park. Julie led our leisurely walking tour with so many stories and history of the Presidio. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful day. Julie is a friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging guide.

This was the best tour we have ever had! Julie is the best! My husband was born in the Presidio and always wanted to see it. She knows all of the history and stories of so many people that called the Presidio their home. This tour is a must. I am having all of my family take this tour when they visit San Francisco.

You cannot think of San Francisco - and not think of the Golden Gate Bridge or the Presidio. And, a fact-filled-fun tour of the historical Presidio, is a great way to spend an afternoon. JB Walking Tours offered an incredible experience: 4-mile/3+ hours walking through History.

Whether you’ve lived in San Francisco or visiting, I would highly recommend this. This comfortable walking tour gives a great overview of historical events! Julie’s style of mixing anecdotal stories – with facts – was very cool. She compliments the events with an iPad that incorporates historical pictures.
