Just to make sure people know that this place is still a horrible option for staying, I wanted to submit my review. I stayed there July 2015, and it was absolutely horrible. The rooms are disgusting, and the staff smokes all over the grounds (including inside the non-smoking rooms). The balcony is adjacent to the highway -- so good luck with keeping windows open at night and trying to sleep.

Paid $170 for a night of sleep, but it was loud with people walking up and down wooden boardwalks. The phone began ringing at 7am for what reason I don't know. I asked for a late checkout, but at 9AM the cleaning lady, or guy, I couldn't tell, banged on my door screaming "house keeping"!

Stepped on a needle as I exited my room. The girl Patty at the counter, apologized and added it to a bag of needles she had stored in her drawer. Creepy maintenance guy named Alan Remsen likes to go into your room when your sleeping or not around and steal items. I would never stay here again. Tons of drug deals, cops surrounding the building on a weekly basis and shootings galore. This place is under surveillance by the Anchorage Police Department constantly for drug activity. Reported the maintenance guy to the local police department after I checked out. I have items from my travel bag missing, the maintenance guy was the only one leaving my room as I was entering.

I liked the privacy we get & we get the help we need when we need it & you have a very friendly staff. This is my second time here & you guys remembered me & were very nice! Patty especially she deserves a raise! 🙂

I only give this place ONE star 🙁 They charged me two nights, I only asked for one night, 2 ladies that work there were very nice to me oh and one guy. but the rest were jerks, so I call and complain that they over charged me they said it was all me, they made no errors, the two ladies I talked to said yeah it was Parkwood's fault and that I should be getting a refund. I ask for a refund and they check everything and say "yeah you paid" I only "paid" because they charged me and I thought well I'm not wasting my money here I will stay those two extra nights but NEVER AGAIN will I stay at that crappy mold smelling hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't waste your money here! Unless it's THE ONLY place you can stay...but keep track of your money they are a huge rip off! Argh!

Charges me under the table so tberefore i was charged be Priceline as well, and in turn i was chArged twice for the same room and was not even marked down for staying in the room, its called money laundering and its illegAl
