We had a little mishap turning into facility, because it sits down off the highway, but easily flipped around to enter the driveway.

Front desk staff was ok.

Cozy rustic atmosphere. Rooms were clean. Beds and pillows were good.

Food and drinks were delicious. Servers were attentive.

We had hot wings, fried pickle spears, spicy shrimp soup and a grilled cheese.

I was initially given a room that hadn't been cleaned, and it was obvious. I was quickly given another room, which was clean, but the couch looked like it was from the 70s.

Staff weren't unfriendly, but didn't go out of their way to feel welcoming either. Each morning as I walked by them they would almost seem to avoid making eye-contact with me, and never said as much as "Good morning."

Beautiful views from my room and the parking lot, that's for sure!

Things to know before you stay here;
1. Checking in at 12:32 pm, room ready, however they try and charge you an early check in fee, asked twice if this was accurate and same answer from the front desk clerk, yes.
2. Hotel wifi is only guaranteed in the lobby area, but they will give you an ethernet cord, seriously, it's 2024, how many laptops come with a ethernet connection.
3. Hotel vending machines empty the entire week stay.
4. Fitness center not been open for over 3 years, their words not mine, to much maintenance.

Really like the rooms here, very spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and BEST PILLOWS! They have MyPillow pillows. Very clean hotel, very clean rooms. Gift Shop is cute. The restaurant downstairs is tasty.

Site is renting out rooms knowing that there is lots of mold growth and hoping know one notices.
Got the pleasure of stepping on rusty carpet tack strip in the middle of the night and offered a new room. However, it had more mold than the first.
How is this not multiple health code violations?

Poorly designed building. I've worked in casinos and hotels and have never seen a wing addon that wasn't physically connected to the original building. Especially for Alaska, this seems like very little insight was put into planning.

Positive: Staff was rude, hotel was dirty, pool was not usable because it was too cold. Bought my own towels and toilet paper because the staff was too rude to ask Negative: Everything

Not pet friendly, just dog friendly. Reserved a room and after speaking with the front desk she stated that they don't take cats and that it's on their website, even though it's not.
