Had an amazing time on the water with Clearly Kayak! Our guide Liam was super friendly and kept everyone engaged. Being able to see right to the bottom allowed you to view schools of fish or big rocks underneath the turquoise water, an experience quite unlike normal kayaking. Our entire group was only 8 people and the bonsai rock tour took about 2.5 hours (as stated), with transportation to and from Sand Harbor.

Our tour guide Brad was super experienced, professional and humourous. The pace of the tour was perfect, with Brad's introduction and small talks, I felt excited all the time, without getting too tired from kayaking or bored at all. At Bonsai Rock, Brad climbed onto the rock and made AMAZING pictures for us.

The other staff and check-in place and shuttle are also professional and friendly. This is definitely a super fun experience!

We were fortunate with beautiful weather & a hassel free experience. We soaked up the sun, the amazing lake, & all the interesting fun facts about gorgeous Lake Tahoe.

This was my first trip to Lake Tahoe. Friends and I saw the clear kayak tour as an activity option and had to see what it was all about. The process to book was fairly easy. Each staff member I spoke with were very kind and gave helpful suggestions/information. Our guide, Jake, was awesome as well! He shared some great stories as well as interesting facts about Lake Tahoe. He was very thoughtful when taking our pictures on the lake. He had us kayak to a less crowded spot so that it would look as though we were the only ones on the lake. Highly recommend!

We did the bonsi rock clear kayak tour. The clear kayaks were cool, looking down into the water through the kayak was awesome. It's recommended to go early in the morning, while the wind is low, and then lake is calm and clear. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the tour was kind of disappointing. If you're a regular avid kayaker then the guided tour will be too easy and short. I'd recommend if you want to experience clear kayaking, and you're not new, then rent a clear kayak instead of doing the tour. If you've never kayaked before then this tour will be perfect. It's very easy and you go a short distance down the lake shore.

Clearly Tahoe is the best tour group we experienced in Tahoe. Every employee was genuine, excellent hosts and tour guides. Our group did the clear kayak Bonsai Rock Tour, based in Incline Village. We saw an amazing side of the lake, learned so much of it's history and had an amazing time paddling together. This is a "must do" if you are traveling to Lake Tahoe. Thank you for the excellent hospitality! We will be back.

This is a fantastic tour! I booked online the Bonsai Rock clear kayak guided tour day before. The communication with Clearly Tahoe leading up to the trip was wonderful. Received an email/text confirming your and a text the morning of confirming weather was still all good and explained everything we would need for the short trip.

Met and checked in 15 min before scheduled time. Got outfitted with life vest, a dry bag. We dressed in layers as suggested by the guide, and we’re glad we did. I thought I’d be chilly on the water but for most of the trip I was fine in shorts and t-shirt (beginning of June). In other kayak trips we’ve taken on the east coast we are told we must wear water shoes. Here they had all of us take socks and shoes off before getting on the kayak. Just an FYI.

Once we arrived from the shuttle at Sand Harbor, they loaded us into our kayaks. The trip was a little windy at times but still not a strenuous workout, actually quite a nice relaxing ride with beautiful setting. Russ was a quick witted, friendly young man! He gave us some lots of interesting info about the lake.

As we arrived at Bonsai Rock, he climbed the rock and took individual photos of all the kayakers from high above. He then “air-dropped” the photos to each of us! This was a pleasant surprise to have him capture the beauty and memorable trip for us!

Highly recommend this tour group and Russ to anyone looking for a clear kayak tour!

We had an amazing experience on the Bonsai Rock clear kayak tour! From the office staff, shuttle driver, and guide, everyone at Clearly Tahoe was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Our guide, Davis, was great! He put everyone at ease and was really knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding area. There is no better way to experience the beauty of Lake Tahoe than being on the crystal blue water in a kayak you can see through!
