They do good work. I wish they would clean up the parking lot its scary it looks like tint city in downtown los angeles, i understand the homeless have to go somewhere but honestly if i did not ha e busness there i would not stop

Very helpful & understanding of your situation. They will do the best they can to get you through your tough times. Be patient & they will see you through it. I love the pantry on Thursday I usually volunteer with my church and serve hot food to families and it’s a wonderful feeling!

They let me get my mail. I really have not used them much as of late. But over the year's i did not get good treatment from them being homeless in Thousand Oaks, ca. But it seem under new management they are better. I can not walk, so i have not been there in a few year. It is not easy being homeless and not being able to walk. But i got to thank them for letting me send someone to pick my mail up. Thank you LSS.

Seriously amazing people. Very kind, respectful and helpful. Bag lunches, winter & summer meal/shelter program list, laundry & shower program by appointment. They close the doors at 9:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
If there is help to be had its here(within reason). Worth a shot, and worth donating to.

They were kind enough when I was trying to get myself in order after my father's death and I had no water on in his house, that they let me come down and take a shower. They're very good at trying to help you out if your homeless, as well as connecting you to other valuable services

Place to go if you are down on their luck. This Lutheran social services has people who are kind and not judgemental. You can get a shower, lunch, mail box (if you don't have an address), etc when you become a client. They point in the right direction and help give a hand up
