Absolutely amazing. Loved staying here. Short drive to restaurants, right on the river, charming room with plenty of space to move around. Space is set up similar to an in law suite over a garage (except this one isn't over a garage). It has a very nicely appointed outdoor kitchen area for cooking and easy access to the gorgeous river right outside. The entrance to Sequoia National Park is only a short 10 minute drive. I'd highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy stay while visiting the parks!

WOW!! What a perfect place to stay as you plan a trip to the Sequoia National Park. The location is perfect and it is absolutely beautiful — set against the river with natural shade everywhere. You are only 5 minutes to the entrance of the park—note that it could take much longer with the lines to enter unless you do what we did and get there at 545am!! The River Jewel has plenty of seating right on the river bank, an outdoor kitchen which we took advantage of, and the peace of the river sounds. We stayed in the Annex which although was not on the river but so charming and private that we would stay here every time. It is an easy 3 minute walk to the river or you can drive down and park there. We met the owners who were so nice to talk with. They provide a service that is second to none. The rooms include waters, apples, snacks, coffee mugs etc which they could easily charge for but don’t. They provide all cooking essentials and some condiments, seasonings etc. Really everything is there. We just had a wonderful weekend!! We look forward to another stay - may stay longer next time !!!

We stayed in the Sequoia Charm suite- upstairs with very fun and eclectic decor, an outside deck facing the river, with pleasant river sounds coming into the suite. Large and interesting space with microwave, sink and refrigerator. Out the downstairs door to a communal fully equipped kitchen with BBQ and table to eat, then another few feet to the river. Multiple very pleasant sitting areas by the river, including one area with steps to a large rock right in the middle of the river. Great views of stars at night, river sounds and just a very pleasant place to stay 3 miles out of Three Rivers.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Kaweah Gem Suite while visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The room was nice and very clean. The amenities provided in the room were also nice. The location of the place was set back from the main road, so very private. The property also had private access to the river with lots of seating areas provided. The owners were very welcoming, even their sweet Australian Shepherd!

We had the good fortune to stay at the River Jewel Suites, situated in a beautiful location by the river, outside of Sequoia National Park. The suite was exquisitely furnished, with a full kitchen, beautiful bathroom and lovely patio. There was even an antique safe to add to the ambience.||||But what made our stay so special was Diana herself. She is so gracious, treating you like family anticipating your every need.

As part of this complex, you have the Annex which is a delightful unit off by itself. It offers a King bed and it is nicely appointed with plenty of amenities. Diana will see that you are well attended to with this excellent property. You’re also likely to be treated to some wildlife during your stay, including deer, quail, woodpeckers, and turkeys. Our visit was accompanied with 100 degree temperatures so the AC was a must and it proved up to the task. Lodging in Three Rivers is limited and The Annex is a jewel.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this secret hideaway just outside Sequoia National Park. The room was delightfully decorated. It is nestled in the woods right on the river. The hosts were incredibly gracious. The biggest issue we encountered was debating on staying around the place longer or heading in to the park. :). We’ll be back with more time to enjoy the hammock and the sounds of the river.

We stayed in the “Sequoia Charm”, an upstairs suite in a two-suite building, facing the Kaweah River. The “rustic” décor was interesting; someone has a sense of humor! There was a king-size bed but only a shower. There was very effective air-conditioning, which was necessary because of temperatures in the 90’s even after Labor Day. The ceiling fans were also effective. There was a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee-maker. There was a big TV, which we did not watch. On the deck below was an open-air kitchenette having a full-sized fridge and a barbecue. ||||It was very quiet at night. There is lots of parking space, some of it paved. There is a land-line telephone, which is useful because there is no cell-phone signal here in Three Rivers. The WiFi is strong. The owners were unobtrusive.||||The property goes down to the nearby river. There’s a swimming-hole there with cool water, but be careful of the slippery boulders underwater. There are tables and chairs near the river. There is good birdwatching there too. ||||Various food options are nearby in Three Rivers, including a supermarket. There were two gas stations operating just after Labor Day.||||We would return here if back in Three Rivers.
