I usually don't write reviews often if ever, but my experience at this dealership was so good i had to give them props; If you are looking for a car (Jeep, Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet...) Reach out to those guys especially Rasheed, i talk with Rasheed many time on the phone, as i live 2 hours away from this dealership, and Rasheed was always super helpful for my lease, answering every questions and giving me great advice; at the end they had the best deal by far from all the other dealers from south Bay to Sacramento and i made the 2 hours drive (which is very beautiful by the way) and it was well worth it.
When i arrived at the dealership everything was well setup and the deal we talked on the phone was matching 100% no sneaky salesman speech, just good honest friendly people which was really refreshing. So if you're looking to buy or lease a car i would definitely recommend giving those guys a call, the general sales manager is also awesome.

Had a great experience dealing with Phillip in the service department. He was able to order all of the parts required to complete the recalls on my Ram truck in a very timely manner. Called me as soon as they came in and got my schedule the very next business day! He kept me updated the whole time my truck was in the shop I was very impressed with his customer service.

Update January 2025: I have to change my review now, unfortunately. The techs are all fantastic and do great work, I have no doubts. Unfortunately, if a mistake is made, it appears as though very little will be done to rectify the situation, and you may have to escalate your issue to Mopar customer care to get a resolution.

I had my 2019 Pacifica towes to this dealerships service department as I bought it from one of the other Thurstons. Let me start by saying I didn't know theybsold me an extended warranty until after I got my packet in the mail months after purchase and when I had it towed there my extended warranty had run out last year. Anyways here's is more about what was going on with my van and my experience.

My Husband drove my van to work one day, he then called me telling my my van doesn't start it is just clicking and that it had also over heated that morning. We did a few things after research as we are both Mechanicallu inclined. After a New battery, new auxiliary battery still no start. Tried to jump it with another vehicle nothing, but what ever it was was draining voltage from the battery. We then had it towed home to take the starter off and have the starter tested at the local Autozone store since the starter was clicking but not turning the vehicle over. Starter passed on the machine twice.. not the starter. We reinstalled the starter and still just clicking. But every time we tried to start the car the voltage on battery was going down. So we decided to have the dealership diag it and depending on ehat they said it may or may not be something we can do. We also looked up info on the Mega Fuse on top of the battery and it was getting power, swapped relays around all of them were good just no start. My vehicle was dropped off Monday after noon by tow truck and was to be diagnosed on Tuesday my appt being like 9 or 10 am. I get a call at about 11 saying the tech had left foe the day and the service advisor had to leave for the day and I would hear from them by noon Wed. 2pm Wed afternoon no call, so I call and the response is he is still looking at it and there would be no additional fee but he had to let the tech know about the overheating and I would hear from him by noon on Thurs as the services advisor had to leave early yet again. 12:30pm and no call Thursday and I call and left message. Service advisor calls back and tells me that the technician recommends a starter as they tested it on the vehicle and it failed and that they can't diag the overheating until after the starter was put in and that with parts and labor was going to be roughly $1200. I asked howntheybtested it as we had taken it to Autozone and it past and he told me on the vehicle but that those machines at parts stores arent always right. ( I was an autozoner for 7 years. The machine had always worked so aindont know whybhe said thay but ok whatever right) $581 for starter and the rest in labor, mind you we had left the skid plate off which takes about 30 mins to get off and 30 mins to put on off the vehicle so the amount time they were quoting was more time then it took us to take the starter out test it and out it back in. So I told them I will have it towed home and do it ourselves. Which we did. After installing a new starter the vehicle still just clicked and didn't want to start. Took it to a shop where they tested the power to the starter at the starter no power, then tested up and the mega fuse and found there was power at the fuse but it was not sending power down to the starter. They jumped the power and the van started right up. Then in turn cause the dash to tell us to stop safely as the vehicle would shut off. Then the charging system was tested with the faulty Mega Fuse still on battery which gave a bad voltage regulator for the alternator.

A big shout out to the service manager at Thurston Dodge, Ukiah. My brother died this summer and his truck broke down and was towed to the dealer. They diagnosed the issue and let me keep it in their lot until I could figure out how to sell it from Massachusetts. The service manager was more helpful than he needed to be. This process took several months and there was no pressure to get the truck removed. He was sensitive the situation and was happy to help me out in this difficult situation. He had nothing to gain except good karma. Every interaction with him was kind and professional. Thank you again for being human and showing compassion in this crazy world.

I have to give them 1 star or I can't post. Another horrible experience dealing with the crew at Thurstons! Had my truck 2020 Ram there twice in the last 2 weeks for routine maintenance. Some work was performed and some wasn't, even though I was charged for parts upfront and invoiced for services. Everytime (been a customer for years) I've had to deal with them I feel frustrated and completely unsatisfied. I believe in supporting local, but not these guys!

Just had the worst experience trying to buy a charger, i test drove it loved it and said we could discuss figures as soon as we did the numbers just started going up and up so finally I offered to just pay the vehicle off with a certain amount and the manager sarcastically said “well i would too but thats not how it works” and then as i was leaving he said “i am just trying to educate you” to which I replied i do not need education, i need a vehicle. Terrible customer service. Keep in mind the manager was being smug and acting as if i was not a customer but more of a nuisance.
