Really wanted to like Bishop, California but in less than 12 hours my credit was skimmed and being used in the Czech Republic after 4 charges in Bishop. I shopped at Sinclair Gas, Cielo Hotel, Whiskey Creek, and Schat's Bakery. Both Cielo and Schat's used the chip so they should be clean. Sinclair was a swipe and Whiskey Creek was table service, so those are the two possible spots. Nice town, but watch your credit card...mine was skimmed and had to be canceled overnight. What a hassle. Sad. If I ever stop by again it will be cash only in Bishop.

Just an all out cool little city. People are nice, great food, traffic is at a minimum.
