Huge thank you to Capt. Curt! We aren’t avid fisherman so We went on this trip just for the experience and to see what we could catch. We caught plenty. Threw most back because we couldn’t eat it all. He was very attentive, safety oriented, super friendly and offered great knowledge and information. He provided a great music atmosphere as well! I loved his stories. This is a man that treats you accordingly so if you’re rude and abrasive you should probably expect the same. He read my family very well and toured us to see the sea lions and pointed out other marine life. Thanks again!

Curt knows what he is doing! Not only did he put us on the fish, but he took the time and patience to guide and teach us how to catch Pacific Halibut. I had never been fishing for Halibut and I made a few mistakes, Curt took a calm and collected approach to teaching how me how to drop the line w/o getting it caught up and also how to reel in the fish I hooked up. Great boat and decent sized as well, which helped in rougher seas. Thanks again Curt!

Kurt was amazing! Super fun, helpful, and even cleaned the fish at the end without having to ask! Plus we got a bag of crab at the end. We were leaving the dock and saying to each other, man we should have asked to go crabbing if we had time… don’t have to worry about that here. They have the pots soaking before you even leave. He’s thinking about getting you on fish the whole time. I never catch, I fish a lot. Today with Kurt, I went catching. Fun trip’ thanks Windrose Charter!

We had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Curt today on the Wind Rose. This was hands down the best fishing experience we’ve ever had. We caught so many fish to bring home it nearly paid for itself! Curt is awesome and we won’t hesitate to book with him again the next time we’re in Trinidad!

Kurt was a great captain friendly and knowledgeable about the prime spots as soon as lines were in water someone was yelling fish on. He was always there to help any of us if needed help so everyone was able to reel in a fish.we also got our limit on crab as well highly recommend..

I just can’t express how great Wind Rose Charters treated us. I went with a 93 year old blind man and was a little worried, but these guys were GREAT! They helped him get into the boat and from there I didn’t have to worry about a thing because they took care of everything. Their personalities were wonderful and welcoming. We caught our limit of fish and took home our limit of crabs. Never had to touch a fish or lift a finger. They cleaned and filleted our fish right on the boat for us and Nate is a machine. From the warm welcome, to the great fishing, comfortable ride, accommodating for a senior, and personalities, I just can’t give this business a high enough rating. These guys just can’t be better. We had a wonderful time, and with a grateful heart, I want to thank them for wonderful adventure they took us on and the memories they helped create. There just can’t possibly be anyone better to take you out on the ocean. I recommend them to everyone and I am so happy we chose to go out with them. Thank you so much Wind Rose!
