Our family stayed here 1/5/25. I called ahead and booked over phone about an hour out. When we arrived Dominique greeted us great. He was super nice and was very helpful. We got to our room to discover it was dirty. Hair on beds and in the shower. I called desk and he was very apologetic and immediately offered us a different and better room. That room was definitely much better and we were able to go thru with our stay. We had to call office to get more towels, rags, because the room wasn't stocked. We got them quickly though. When we got ready to go to pool, our key card wouldn't work but Dominique came right over and let us in. The pool and hot tub were nice. The next morning we went to breakfast and it was HORRIBLE. Barely anything available. We were told it's from 6:30-9:30, we arrived at 8. They had the bare minimum to offer.... cereal with no milk, bagels but tasted old and stale, all bread items we had to get with our hands... no tongs were available, and the month old expired yogurts weren't appealing. Son had ate a waffle and that's it. After that we went to check out. I mentioned our issue and let the guy know about the issues and yogurt. He replied with an "I know it is"... I said we'll 9k then and left. I would not recommend this place or ever stay again. I wish Dominique the best of luck and I appreciate you trying so hard to make things work for us.

This should be considered a motel, not a hotel. The rooms smell old, like mildew and look dingy. The toilet and tub were not clean. I don't recommend it if you're bringing your family. The waffle maker is present but no waffle mix. I probably would not have left a bad review but the housekeeping girl opened my door at 9am, even with my privacy sign up. Check with the front desk to see if we have checked out before you just start barging in people's rooms.
Front desk people were very nice tho

Very satisfied with our short stay on this location. Tidy room with most amenities that we needed for our stay or any additional request just a ring away to the front desk. Huge plus to the complementary breakfast which was more than we can handle. Too Many to mention. Here are some photos. ⭐️

The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful, some of the nicest hotel staff we've encountered. First room we were sent to had not yet been cleaned at 5pm, we were quickly given another room, with apologies. It was clean but the hotel is in dire need of updating. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub floor was bouncy and had lumps of caulk on it, bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, drapes and carpets need a really good cleaning or replaced, carpet had been well vacuumed, sheets, towels, surfaces, bathroom were all clean just very worn out, the microwave and fridge worked well, appear to be newer and were very clean, we don't drink coffee so we didn't use the in room coffee maker. We stayed 4 nights, did not use housekeeping services, they are provided by request. | Make sure you take a copy of or have access to the confirmation email you received if you make a reservation online as our confirmed reservation stated what we would be charged at check-out however, when we checked out we were charged approximately $174 MORE than the email I was not able to access at the time we checked out. I knew the bill was higher than I had been told, just couldn't prove it right on the spot. I have sent an email to the hotel showing the charges I was told we would pay along with what we were overcharged. It was sent it soon as I got home Friday (last night) evening and had access to the information. I will be contacting the hotel Monday when I expect a manager is likely to be there unless I hear from the hotel sooner to have the charges adjusted. If the hotel does not refund the additional unexpected unwelcome amount we certainly won't book another stay there and I would advise anyone who does to make sure they have something showing what they were told the charges would be when they booked the room. Also, we had only booked the room about 4 days before we arrived so I would think the hotel would be aware that rates were changing at the time we booked as most online booking shows charges up to a year in advance. We did not use the pool or try the breakfast offerings, the breakfast area was spotless when I stopped by for a cup of cocoa, coffee, tea, cocoa are available 24hrs a day. The hotel is halfway between The Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park and Cumbres and Toltec Railroad trip so it is a convenient location, plan to have dinner early as at least when we were there pretty much every restaurant closes around 8pm, a few were open until 9 or 9:30.

Room was alright. Definitely not a fancy room or anything and the tub looked a little dingy. Beds were decent but pillows were small. But it us super close to the college and has decent food near by. Pool is pretty great and breakfast was good. But with all that I would have given it a 3 star but the people working there were so amazing. Super kind and were willing to help any way they could. Whoever was keeping breakfast stalked (didn't catch a name) was soo sweet and kind and was staying on top of it. Front desk was so amazing. How nice they were alone made me want to stay again.

Just what we needed for an overnight on our road trip.
The staff were polite and efficient with my time. Kind and cheerful.
Arrived early enough to enjoy the indoor pool and the surprisingly beautiful and well manicured green space in the center of the property. Bathroom/locker room for the pool is clean and pool towels are readily available poolside.
Breakfast was ready early and offered broad choices to fuel up before getting back on the road.
It’s an older property and the rooms show their age a little, but the care and maintenance that’s been applied to the property also shows.
It does front a highway in an agricultural hub of the area. We were reminded of this by ag-exempt Semis with loud exhaust a couple of times. Normal traffic didn’t register - only loud vehicles.

Positive: Leaving Negative: Numerous problems here at this hotel. One of the main issues was rude staff , the room smelled so bad of toxic cheap cleaning supplies - I couldn?t even sleep. Terrible everything at this cheap motel.
