My family of 4 LOVED this adventure!!! My two kids loved riding as a family! My 8 year old couldn't reach the pedals, so she got to just sit there and enjoy the ride. My 10 year old could pedal and helped quite a bit! The tour guides and staff were helpful and kind. They checked on us often to make sure we were doing ok. Pedaling wasn't hard to do, and I loved that it was an active family adventure. It was a very cold and wet day, but we just bundled up in lots of layers. We enjoyed our ride and visit! I would definitely go back again someday!

We had a super fun time rail-biking with Revolution Rail. We had a quad bike for our family of 4 and even though the three year old couldn’t reach the pedals and the 8 year old only pedaled some of the time it wasn’t too hard and we could relax and enjoy the beautiful and interesting scenery. The guides were friendly although we didn’t have much interaction after leaving the station. We did the pedal and paddle option where we ended the biking portion at the river put-in and rafted back. I highly recommend this combo as the rafting company was great as well and it was fun to see the route from two different modes of transport/perspectives.
Highly recommend!

This was SO much fun! We reserved the full moon ride and it did not disappoint! Luke and his crew were professional, friendly, provided s’mores and telescope to look at the full moon.
Patrons were friendly and everything ran smoothly.
Highly recommend!

We had a large group. It wasn't too strainous. Not having to steer made it easy to enjoy the views. The guides discussed the history of the area and the railroad going through this area. We also did the river rafting back which was also fun. This was a very fun thing to do with the whole family.

I suggest anyone in the area to experience this. It's a good amount of peddling. The train carts are super cool. We put the kiddos in the front and the adults got to pedal. Up hill first which will wear you out but downhill-ish on the way back to make you feel better about yourself. The staff was awesome. Everyone there is enthusiastic and refreshing to be around.

Stopped in to check this place out, and we were delighted to speak to the knowledgeable staff about the geology and history of the area. We didn't have time to do the tour today but plan on returning with a big family group! We saw people coming in that were all ages and abilities, everyone smiling despite a little rain. We'll be back!

Love love LOVE these folks and enjoyed the whole experience!
The staff is super cool: Joseph, Timber, and Kristen (my new favorite person!) were lovely to hang with… they kept us entertained & informed (about the history of the railroad in the area).
We did the shorter trip on a quad bike, but I look forward to enjoying the rail bike + rafting trip someday! Also, the full moon trek sounds WAY cool!
It was myself, a 12 year old, and an 8 year old on a quad bike… and we had NO problem making that thing move. My boys loved doing a countdown (3-2-1, GO!) and then pedaling super fast to make the quad go quickly.
I was in the brake seat in the back, and it was EASY to slow and stop the bike.
Great views of the Rio Grande, and neat to see a few different Sputh Fork homes along the route.

All-in-all, WAY worth the money!
Just DO IT, people. ✨

Our family of 6 had a great ride on the rails. Beautiful scenery all around with a wonderful scent of flowers in the valley. A must if you're staying in the area or close by. We drove up from Pagosa Springs while on vacation. Made for a great day trip.
