I arrived on Saturday 12/14 not realizing that I mistakenly booked the room for Sunday 12/15. The receptionist and manager were very understanding and agreed to cancel with full refund. Further they arranged another booking at a nearby hotel for nearly half of their rate. I will certainly stay At Hyatt Place on my next trip to CT. Their kindness and exceptional service were very much appreciated.

Very nice spot. There is a bar and room service. The rooms are modernly decorated with a large screen TV. I found the atmosphere very comfortable. The entire hotel is clean and it is a hop, skip, and jump away from the casino. The king suite is a little small but well furnished. I would definitely stay again.

We utilized the Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area for our wedding group block during the weekend of May 17th, 2024. A majority of my guests were coming from California, so we knew the Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area was going to be the perfect hotel for our guests. They enjoyed the room set-up, and having a hot and cold breakfast each morning. We also used their meeting space for our rehearsal dinner, which worked out perfectly for our in-house guests. Lorrie and her team made everything absolutely perfect, and I am glad that my guests were able to enjoy themselves while staying at the Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area.

Great proximity to the casino and the shuttle was prompt and a great value add. The rooms and bathroom were clean and updated.

Our fridge didn't work. We didn't need it, so I didn't request for it to be fixed, so I'm not removing a star for that. There very well may have been a super quick fix. It ultimately didn't effect our experience but I could see this being a potential issue for other guests.

The hotel was OK. I stayed there from Saturday, October 12 to Sunday, October 13 upon arrival Damien check us in. He was nice but he had the wrong information about the shuttle so completely messed up our schedule and had to wait in an additional 30 minutes of the shuttle. I swim in the pool, it’s nice. I think you really like it comfortable I slept on the couch bed and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was amazing. The French toast was good. It’s a hotel breakfast. It’s just I think the service could be improved a little bit and also smoking in the elevators smell like smoke smoke we’re looking for a cheap and easy way to get to Mohegan Sun. I said it’s nice comfy the shuttle drivers very nice although the Hyatt particular shuttle broke so we had to borrow the Microtel shuttle very nice driver, not a bad experience go swimming and eat breakfast here

Easy check in , friendly staff. No shuttle to casino on the day I was there, however the location can't be beat. Very close proximity to Mohegan Sun. Quiet and pleasant hotel. Well appointed rooms. Overall one of the nicest options in the area. Would recommend.

The team at the front desk was helpful and friendly. I was able to check in quickly and efficiently. The shuttle was prompt and an unexpected added service since my function was at Mohegan Sun. I was surprised at the ample size of the room and its amenities. I will definitely stay again, in fact looking forward to it!!

Poor Service and Unresponsive staff not suitable for families

Our recent 3-night stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing, especially as we were traveling with young children (infant and toddler). Basic housekeeping was a constant struggle - we requested room cleaning before leaving for several hours, only to return to an untouched room. Multiple requests were needed just to get basic cleaning service, which is unacceptable for any hotel.

The front desk staff and management were consistently unhelpful and showed little concern for our situation, despite traveling with small children. Their dismissive attitude made a frustrating situation even worse.

The breakfast was another letdown, with poor quality and limited options.
