The clerk was a bit odd. He (Joshua)Told us that they were still working on the room, after 3pm check in time. Gave us a small envelope with "coupons" for us, and then we asked for our room keys...he said I already gave them to you. We were so confused, we said in the "coupon" thing you handed us. Also they have an OUTDOOR hot tub, but no robes, so we couldn't go in, because it obviously isn't clear enough. The hallways were FREEZING and went into out room and it was 50 degrees inside. The whirlpool tub in th room had a broken drain and took forever to fill due to the nozzle being a shower type head rather than a faucet. No pens no paper in the room, ice machine only on 1st floor as we didn't see signs for it on our floor. The bar is open late which is good and the kitchen, however the amenities like pool and hot tub should be offered late as well instead of only til 10. We are right next to a 24 hour casino, would make more sense. ALSO as someone who has a handicap plaque, the handicap spaces available in the rear of the building were unplowed and not shoveled so it was dangerous getting out. No extra pillows or blankets in the room. I guess for the cost I expected more from a Hilton brand.

Barely a 5 minute drive to Foxwoods. Dunkin Donuts directly across the street. Overall great location! The hotel itself is fine for a night or two. We stayed for one night as we were seeing a show at Foxwoods. We had a king room on the 4th floor. The room was large and had very high ceilings which caused a little bit of echo. The heater was a bit noisy. The bed was fine and the room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no shuttle to Foxwoods offered. We would stay again next time we’re visiting Foxwoods.

Got a room with a jacuzzi tub to enjoy a nice bath. The tub had a shower head for the faucet. After ten minutes and only about 1.5 inches of water in the tub, I gave up and emptied it. Don't bother waiting your money on one of these rooms. If you do, plan ahead like two hours and only use hot water since it will cool off as you fill it. Rest of the room is just okay.

I really wanted to rate this place well. The actual room was decent, great location to casino. TV was pretty small. The service is just not great here. We turned on our a/c and went to casino. Got back and the room was hot. We called downstairs and said we needed a different room. The guy at the desk said he would get to it when he could. My husband went downstairs and he was talking with a customer (who wasn't really a customer because he had no money) The guy was in socks, had a beat up face, and was shivering like in detox. Not being heartless, but who wants to stand and watch that "going nowhere" interaction for 10 minutes...while being ignored. When he finally exchanged our room, he acted like WE were the inconvenience. Nah dude, if I'm paying $200 for a short sleep, I want a/c. If not for him, this rating would be better. All I really want is a clean, comfortable place to lay my head. Preferably without rude customer service and addicts.

I recently stayed at this Hilton property and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. While there were some positive aspects, several issues overshadowed the positives, leaving me with a less than satisfactory impression.

Room Quality:
The rooms are clean and spacious, which is a definite plus. But the lack of decor made them feel echoey and uninviting. The bed was comfortable, but it didn’t quite fit the bed frame, which was a bit off-putting. The television was older and surprisingly small for such a large room, and the limited TV channel options didn't help. The remote was dirty and appears to not be cleaned that often. I liked the usb plug in by the bed, but the radio was a bit much.

Temperature Control:
Upon entering the room, we were greeted by an icy chill. We had to manually turn on the heat, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable at first. Being the middle of winter it was extremely odd to have to wait 30 minutes to take our jackets off in the room.

Amenities:
I appreciated the bottled water in the room, but charging $3.50 per bottle felt excessive. The blackout curtains were fantastic and really helped me get a restful sleep, but the overall experience was marred by other issues.

Pool and Hot Tub:
The pool area was nice, but the outdoor hot tub was disappointing. It was filled with leaves and overly foamy, which made me hesitant to use it, as it indicated a lack of cleanliness. After a while, the pool became overrun with kids, likely due to a basketball convention at Mohegan Sun. Unfortunately, the hotel staff didn’t seem to manage the situation, allowing the noise to spill into the hallways and elevators. The promise of enforced quiet hours was not upheld, and it felt chaotic.

Staff Interaction:
While the daytime check-in staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the overnight team was less helpful. I reached out for extra pillows, as the ones provided were paper-thin, but my request went unanswered. I really liked that the hotel sent a text to check on my stay but learned it was essentially useless as they didn’t respond to my inquiries, which felt frustrating and unprofessional.

Privacy Concerns:
One of the most troubling aspects was the vent between the bathrooms in guest rooms, which literally opened into the next room. This lack of privacy was alarming, especially after I had showered. When I raised this issue, I was told it was just how the hotel was designed, showing a distinct lack of empathy from the staff. You can literally hold your phone up to the vent and see into the other guests bathroom!

Overall Impression:
While the hotel has a great location near the casinos, the myriad of issues I encountered, from the noisy environment to the questionable cleanliness and lack of attention to guest comfort, left much to be desired. The owners seem to prioritize cutting costs over providing a quality experience for guests. The bizarre furniture choices in the entrance area make it clear that more thought went into aesthetics than guest satisfaction.

As a frequent Hilton guest, I was surprised and disappointed by this experience. I would rank this stay as one of the lowest among Hilton hotels I've visited. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously, as there is significant potential for improvement.

As a loyal Hilton guest, I chose this hotel based on (a) online reviews, and (b) the fact it was only 2 minutes from Foxwoods, where we were seeing a concert on a Friday night.||Plenty of free parking with super lovely and helpful staff at check-in. I’d chosen a room on the 4th floor and we especially loved the extra high ceilings in our room!||I’d give room cleanliness a 4/5 — there was some plastic trash on the floor when we arrived and the rooms do smell a tad musty when you first walk in … but nothing so horrific that the smell doesn’t disappear after a few minutes.||The room was a decent size (those higher ceilings always make rooms look bigger, of course, lol) and I personally found the beds far too soft (others might not), but comfortable enough.||My husband took advantage of the on-site breakfast and headed downstairs for it at 7am. It was supposed to open at that time (Saturday morning) but they weren’t quite set up for the buffet yet, so he went for al la carte instead. He said the staff were super lovely and he found out from one of them that for just an extra $5 (on top of his breakfast menu purchase) he could also indulge in the entire buffet — win!!||(I tried to upload photos of our room, but the Tripadvisor app wasn’t letting me, sorry!)

Very inviting. Beautifully decorated. Gas fireplaces and firepit. Warm and cozy. Each person at the front desk was gracious and friendly. Bartender also. Rooms were spacious and clean with ample amenities. I really appreciated the "zero" products due to sensitivity to most perfumed bath products. Microwave, small refrigerator, and Kureig.

Curb appeal here is amazing! Rooms are quite dated (32” tv, limited usb charging options), but there is a micro fridge and the bed was very comfy! They were doing planned work on pool, so couldn’t check that out. I’d return if staying on points, but if paying cash, it’s average to slight below average Garden Inn.
