THANK YOU OFFBEAT!!! It's been a month and I can't wipe the smile off my face; the DR is BEAUTIFUL, but our experience was deeply enhanced by the local experts and guides at Offbeat. They often work with students to travel abroad, but I would've assumed they specialized in family trips based on the service we received with our 9 month old in tow.

We asked for a trip full of food and outside time. They delivered waterfalls, hikes, and caves along with treats like chocolate, chinola (passionfruit), and chicharron. Special shoutout to a few of the staff: Jonas for becoming besties with the baby, Francis for encouraging us to jump into the iciest water ever (colder than Lake Superior), and Harry, the owner, for coordinating and checking in regularly. Apparently, they also have guides in different locations like Costa Rica. Now the only question is if we go to a new location or come back to DR... Thank you again for such great memories with our family!! Hopefully, see you somewhere in the world in 2025!

The experience was great!!, there was so many fun things, I love how they had an area of little houses for kids to play at the beach and I loved the pool especially because it had a jacuzzi, the administrators were very attentive and they helped with any problem I had. The security was great and I felt very safe, i would definitely recommend going to this hotel so if you’re on vacation finding hotels this is definitely the place to go to!!

My wife and I planned trip to Dominican Republic and Offbeat Travel arranged our all accommodations, transportation, and entertainments. We noticed that we are so lucky to have Offbeat Travel during our vacation.
Harry is very knowledgeable, informative and listens to all our expectations, needs, and plans everything to your liking so quickly.
Firstly, we stayed at a beautiful beach house in Juan Dolio with an amazing terrace and view. Rooms are very clean and well organized. The view from the terrace was gorgeous.
Then, we visited Los Haitises National Park. Harry recommended Paraiso Cano Hondo hotel which was a piece of heaven. Paraiso Cano Hondo is not just a hotel, it is a unique experience by itself in the rainforest. We enjoyed the beauty of the natural pools, waterfalls, and delicious food. A visit to the National Park Los Haitises is a MUST! From the hotel it is a 5-minute walks to a dock where you can take the little boat you get to explore the park with the most diverse ecosystems and history of the Dominican Republic. The tour guide Jose was very polite and friendly.
We stayed in Santa Domingo after the national park trip and loved everything about this excursion. We tried to taste all Dominican food and of course Dominican Rom 😊 We gained totally memorable moments for our rest of life in this trip.
Everything went so smoothly during the travel. We were more than satisfied with our experience with Offbeat Travel!

Dani and Antoine's logistical expertise allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty and revel in togetherness.

Antoine and Dani's handling of challenges with remarkable calm and humor added resilience and reality to our journey. Their ability to turn obstacles into opportunities set the tone for our kids' first significant travel adventure, teaching valuable lessons about addressing complications.

Antoine and Dani effortlessly orchestrated our days with engaging activities. Connecting with our kids through road games and sharing interesting facts, they added fun to the journey. Despite being personal guides, they seamlessly blended into our experience, complementing rather than feeling like an awkward fifth wheel. Their easygoing personalities and behind-the-scenes coordination struck a perfect balance, enhancing our journey without overshadowing family time.

Our Costa Rica vacation, a testament to seamless planning, was made extraordinary by OffBeat's thoughtful organization. Accommodations that allowed relaxation and adventures exceeding expectations left us forever grateful for the trip of a lifetime. We were so happy with our experience with Offbeat travel - I cannot recommend them enough! I worked with the Offbeat team to help plan an ambitious family vacation to Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic. We were a large group with toddlers and an infant - and Isabel helped arranged wonderful local drivers to give people rides to and from the airport, a day out on the catamaran out of Bayahibe, a day to see Santo Domingo and Los Tres Ojos, a chef to prepare a family meal for us, and local dinner reservations. Isabel and the Offbeat team truly went above beyond to make sure my family was taken care of, and we had an amazing time. Isabel was so organized, communicative and proactive. 10/10 recommend! I just got back from a trip to the Dominican Republic with Offbeat Travel and absolutely loved it. It was perfect. The team was super helpful in both helping me figure out what I wanted out of my time there and then making it happen. They went above and beyond.
