I was scheduled for a procedure at the hospital and needed transportation as well as someone to stay with me for few hours after to make sure I was OK. Having used their Homecare Services for several years in the past for my Dad's Homecare, I decided to acquire their services for myself. The Homecare Aid arrived right on time and was very helpful throughout the whole time. It really took a load off my mind. We even went out to get some breakfast after the procedure and had great conversations. I plan to use their services in the future as needed.

Every step of the process of setting up home services was made with ease. The care my mother received from her home health aide was top notch. This woman reported to us daily, took notes when OT, PT, or nursing services happened. We couldn't have had a nicer more efficient woman taking care of my mom. The PT, OT, and nursing services where equally great. I would definitely highly recommend Assisted Living Home Care Services.

It was a big adjustment at first, but I got the hang of it.... Then today my supervisor called and told me she was coming to my clients home so a new employee could meet her and that I could meet her...Before Terri left she told me she had someone else to meet outside.... To my surprise it was just like publishers clearing house, with the large check and plaque and a diploma minus the balloons... I was totally in shock and SURPRISED!!! Lazy, untrained homemakers do the bare minimum required for clients. Most trained ones as well. (NOT ALL BUT MOST) Definitely a for profit! They say non profit? But Private Pay clients pay big bucks for mediocre care. Medicare IS TAKEN but they have their quota. They want paying customers. If you go with DKH? Family needs to monitor HM's work ethic and clarify on intake what you require. They also never have enough help and will make excuses and use this to silently punish family for any complaints against their homemakers.
