We took this boat tour to visit 26 glaciers. It is an unforgettable Alaskan adventure!
The boat is comfortable and well-equipped, with large windows for panoramic views. The seats will be assigned. Even if you don't get a window seat you could step outside and enjoy the view.
The tour takes you through breathtaking fjords and past towering glaciers, each more impressive than the last. It feels like a different world when you see glaciers. The cute waterfalls due to melting snow looks gorgeous.
The guides are knowledgeable and provide great commentary on the wildlife, geology, and history of the area.
We saw a variety of seals. The crew is friendly and ensures everyone has a great experience, offering warm beverages and a tasty lunch.

One should not miss this adventure. Highly recommended. Don't forget to bring a raincoat if the weather prediction is rainy. When we visited it was raining but still we got very beautiful views.
In the boat, they provide binoculars for rent. Its even more beautiful than the photos

Just do it! It was breathtakingly beautiful. So much wildlife, so many glaciers, so little time. Sea lions, otters, birds and even saw a black bear, in town! There was someone from the parks service giving the tour and telling stories of Prince William Sound and explaining the glaciers and their importance. So much is done to preserve the ecosystem even as you travel. Food was good but they do not have gluten free options that could easily have been incorporated since the meals are limited. I really was worried about being seasick but didn't even know I was on the water. Whittier is a most beautiful area and will worth the visit!

Capitan Dan did a fabulous job ! Great about making sure we saw wildlife and close up to the glaciers. Wish the charging ports would work . The ability to pick a seat when making a reservation . We were in the middle of the boat , not the best views.

But overall a great cruise .

You have to go on this tour!! We had a fabulous excursion on May 11th, 2024 viewing magnificent glaciers dispite the rain. We toured the Blackstone Bay, Esther Passage & the College Fjord which contains the very impressive Harvard Glacier. We were assigned seats, however, there are three outside viewing levels and pontoon areas. The Captain was knowledgeable and very informative on all the glaciers, wildlife and the Chugach National Forest. The Staff were very friendly, courteous, engaging and great asset to our tour. We chose vegetarian chili for lunch which was warm, delicious and served with a whole wheat roll, coleslaw, cheese and a peppermint chocolate. There was complimentary water, coffee, and tea available the entire tour. Before the end of our tour, we were pleasantly surprised with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Thank you for bringing us by boat so close to these magnificent ice glaciers, wildlife, water views of the spectacular Chugach National Forest in the Prince William Sound.

Had an amazing time on this cruise!

I called the day before because I forgot to notify the crew that I was vegetarian. I was worried, but prepared, that they will not accommodate me, however, they were very kind and served me a vegetarian lunch which was pretty tasty!

We were not allowed to be outside during the ride as the captain drives the boat at a "fast" pace and it is quite cold and windy outside. However, the captain always stopped when there was a possibility or sighting of wildlife so that we can all go out and check it out. And we also went out when we reached the glaciers.

I highly recommend to take the following: wool socks (to be worn over regular socks), warm pants, sweater, a coat or jacket, gloves, beanie, binoculars and a phone/camera of course.

Absolutely amazing experience, worth the price. I would recommend taking the bus from anchorage. They make several scenic stops. Leland I'm a very beautiful clear day and was able to get super close to the glaciers. It was awe inspiring to see the glaciers that close.

We also got to see plenty of wildlife. On the bus we saw moose, and on the cruise we saw sea otters, a humpback whale, walruses, and my favorite- seals!! I was slightly disappointed that we got interior seats but there is plenty of deck space and we could still see fairly well from our seats. It was such a nice day and we're young and able-bodied so we spent a lot of the time standing on the decks. The narration by national park ranger was so informative.

The food on the cruise was amazing. The fresh seafood chowder is something I still think about months later. I actually asked the kitchen for a second serving and they were kind enough to give it to me!

Saw some amazing, up close, glaciers.
The boat mainly stays in calm protected bays, so the ride is nice and easy. No big waves. Great for older & younger folks. The captain spins the boat so each side gets amazing views.
There’s a forest ranger on the boat that goes over lots of great info.
Seating is assigned. You might end up w an extra person at your table if you have an odd number
The food is good!

This was a really fun experience, and we saw a lot of wildlife. Initially the windows on the boat were really foggy, so we spent a lot of time wiping them with the squeegee to see. I wish I'd known that we'd actually stop at some of the glaciers, so I didn't need to waste my time doing that. The timing of the tour was great. They brought out a tasty seafood chowder while we were headed toward the glaciers, and once we finished we got to see all of the glaciers. They stopped at each one for a reasonable amount of time for photos. It was a really relaxing and informative tour.
