2nd day in for the Platt school year and bus did not show up. My son's bus comes at 5:40 to 5:45 now, so he walked down to the end of the road at 5:35 6:00 he was still standing outside so I called and they said oh the bus driver called out. I said well is there a bus coming to pick up? They said let me contact the bus I waited on hold for 10 minutes and then I hung up and called back and got someone else. They apologized and said that the bus driver had to go to the hospital last night and didn't let them know till this morning and that there should be a bus coming. 630 now and my son is been standing outside for almost an hour. My husband ended up driving him to school. This is unacceptable and it happened so many times last year. I really thought they would have gotten this type of stuff ironed out and have a backup plan instead of having to scramble to find someone to pick up the kids. There also has to be a way to notify us instead of having to call and find out if a bus is coming. At least notify the school and the school can send out something immediately. Please do better and work this out.

Called yesterday to discuss my concerns over the safety of my child’s bus stop this year. Living on a very busy road, walking in the breakdown lane with my 6 years old hardly seems safe. The girl at the desk was very rude and during the conversation, I can hear the person she referred to as her manager talking and laughing at my request to discuss it. With the massive shortage of bus drivers, I hold a CDL and am qualified to operate a bus with an endorsement and had actually considered applying. Not a chance. Maybe that’s why there’s a shortage. Bad management and attitudes. Wish me luck getting my son safely to the bus stop this year 💪🏼

Bad management, attitudes and lack of training. These school bus drivers should be trained how to speak and care (emphasize) for all children..
The bus driver and so call manager that answered the call she was also very rude..

Wouldn’t recommend. 2 different bus drivers left my 5 year old son at the bus stop alone. My son had ADHD and loves to wonder off. The second time i called to let them no one was gonna be present for him and to take him back to school and they told me ok he’ll be back at school knowing that the driver had already left him alone at the bus stop. When I called them the excuse was that my son shouldn’t be on the bus he been taking since day one of school. I didnt get an I’m sorry this happen nothing. Worst part was that I found out by the school NOT the BUS COMPANY. Driver NEED better training. Be careful because if they did it to mine twice without a problem they’ll do it to yours !

These buses are never on time anymore.. 2 years ago no problem last year it started and now this year is even worst.. it said that these kids have to suffer and sit on a bus for over 2 hours. Because you can’t keep your staff..I don’t complain but this is not right. If I can pick up my child every day I would. But people have to work..

Could hire employees with better attitudes , they obviously hate their job . Perhaps they should find a new one and stop giving parents attitudes . Most drivers are nasty and miserable. When I was on the bus with Naugatuck public schools the bus drivers were so nice , actually treated the kids on their bus as if they’re own , it’s hard to trust any of them these days so sad

One of their bus driver, Deanna Fray, threatened to leave a bus full of kids from Seymour Park and Rec if her and her daughter did not receive free tickets to the movies. Her behavior at the theater with staff and management was completely unacceptable. Hopefully All Star Transportation handles their employees actions accordingly.

This company has done a sub par job with transitioning from another bus provider. Refused to use the former routes resulting in children getting to school late and missing class time. Blaming the problem on traffic. This is week 2 and they still haven't rectified anything. There isn't any communication and I am deeply disturbed. If your town thinks they are not happy with your bus company, this is not the company you should use or even consider!
