Joe was a very professional captain on-board and off. He answered all of our questions leading up to the cruise and was very prompt in his responses. The boat was in great shape and all of our needs were met. He was accommodating in all ways and let us relax in comfort. I would recommend Charter My Sea Ray to anyone looking for a great day on the Long Island Sound. A wonderful, stress-free cruise operated by a seasoned veteran!

I had a very similar experience to Ms. Forman. It’s my own fault for paying in advance to a stranger via the internet. Wish I could say if it’s worth the money or not, but I paid for my cruise in 2019 and have yet to see the water with Captain Joe. Each time we’ve scheduled during this three-year period, he has canceled due to weather and we’ve never been able to reschedule within a reasonable time, the most recent cancellation being this weekend when it was a beautiful day and there were many boats on the water. He refuses to refund my money. Instead, he said he would extend my cruise time for my trouble, which would be funny if it weren’t so maddening. Shame on me obviously, but I’m posting this to hopefully save others from making a similar mistake in booking with this company. As the wise George Strait once sang, I’ve got some oceanfront property in Arizona…

Note to Joe’s reply: I stand by my review. All I want is my money back - nothing more - and this seems like a reasonable request.

I booked a 2 hour sunset cruise for my sister's birthday and we had a ball! Capitan Joe is professional, prompt and delightful. We felt safe and taken care of. The scenery was beautiful. A perfect way to enjoy a few close friends and the sound.

DO NOT BOOK WITH CHARTER MY SEA RAY. I’m still trying to get my money back for a charter that he cancelled on a gorgeous summer day due to “weather.” He told me via email that he had changed his plans and was going out with a private lesson instead of taking us out. His policy says that if there is a cancellation due to weather you can’t get refunded, you have to reschedule, so he wouldn’t give me a refund. I booked him for a trip with friends who were only in town for a weekend and he couldn’t fit us in to reschedule during the weekend. I called and left voicemails all day asking him to please call me and he never picked up the phone. Extremely unprofessional, he abused his weather policy to keep my money and also get a private lesson in when it worked for him with no regard for the client.

Would highly recommend Captain Joe! My family and I had the best time on his boat, and he was so accommodating to make sure we saw the different spots we wanted to and ensure we arrived on time to dinner. Hope to see Joe again soon!
