This hotel could use a bit of updating but the room was comfortable and clean. The desk attendant could have smiled more but saw to it that we immediately had an extra set of sheets for our child. Bar staff were friendly. I found it strange for a Marriott to close and cordon off the big revolving door to save heat. Had to use the auxiliary door to the left and right of the closed off revolver. Paper signs posted about asking customers to turn in their room passes upon checkout just seemed a bit tacky for a Marriott. Overall though….good location and decent stay.

Room was nice, a little dated but very comfortable bed and spacious. The staff was Phenomenal, Brianna at the front desk was great, and Ashley at the bar was wonderful. I really enjoyed my visit and will certainly stay here again in the future.

This Marriott needs to be updated, Very outdated furnishings and bedding was scratchy. Management did not plan appropriately for the large conference that was staying. On our first night there most of us went down to the restaurant and bar only to find 1 waitress and 1 bartender. They were doing their best, but extremely poor event and staff planning. It took over 2.5 hours to get our meal and nearly 1 hour to get drinks. Our food was horrible but we were too tired to wait to send anything back. Because of this poor service they missed out on a lot of revenue in the next few days. We avoided the restaurant and only did limited drinks the following nights. My past experiences have always been positive at Marriott but something is not quite right with the management staff. Regular staff were courteous and friendly.

Bedspread was old and tattered and barely fit over the flat surface of our bed- no overhang. Mattress itself was filthy. The bed frame does not come to the floor so there is plenty of dust underneath, so don't let your shoes roll underneath- it's a very neglected area. No microwave in-room. The fridge shelving was busted so could barely keep anything in it; nothing would stay on the door. We asked for a bed set to be able to use the sofa fold-out, and no one ever came. Two hours later we went down to ask about it, and we we're handed only a blanket and told the room service person didn't show up this evening. The restaurant's food was delicious, but had a gluten reaction occur the first night from something, after I asked the server to be aware of the gluten allergy at the table. It felt like the seriousness of my request was not understood despite my plain language about it. The next time we ate there the server was excellent and appropriately diligent about ensuring our food safety. We did not visit the pool, but the pool did visit us over the weekend. There were many people wandering the hotel lobby, elevators, and room corridors in only a bathing suit, basically all day long on Friday-Sunday... take that for whatever that might mean for you. Breakfast is slightly above continental quality, with an emphasis on slightly. The service is absolutely wonderful, and I could not expect better. It was very clean and felt well organized. The lobby coffee was terrible. It was dispensed from a Starbucks machine, it cost $2.50 and did not taste fresh, even though it appears to grind the beans, though I wondered because it didn't sound like a grinder, but maybe its just so great that I've not been lucky enough to yet hear such a quiet and instantly fast, .5sec grinder.. The only add-ins available were regular sugar, pink sugar, and plain cream. The lobby has a snack shop with a microwave, extremely limited options, all highly processed, most are high in either sugar or trans fats, or both. The grounds were clean, as was the lobby, and it was quite bustling most of the time. I'd come back if needed, but not with the same expectations I'd had before I arrived the first time.

One of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. Completely overpriced— we paid over $300 per night when it was not nearly worth that, but had to suck it up out of necessity. Shower and sink in our room didn’t drain— our last day we were there the tub took 10 hours to fully drain. There was also a sizable amount of black mold in the bathroom. The worst part of the experience was the staff. Never have we felt more rushed at a hotel, between housekeeping and waitstaff. Housekeeping repeatedly knocked on our door starting at 8:30am, waking us up and ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign hanging. They continued to come back and knock (this went on both days we were there), and when we asked them to come back a little later, the woman could not have looked more annoyed. We came back to the room later that night and they had not come back, our bed was unmade and the room had not been cleaned. We spoke to someone at the front desk about these issues, but doubtful they will be fixed for the next guests to stay in that room. Very disappointing, especially for a Marriott property

Staff at front desk and bar were friendly and efficient. That’s the only good thing about the property. For years, this hotel was the gem of the community. Now, it’s a shell of its former self. While hotel is clean, it is rundown. From the dirty carpets in the public bathroom and halls, to the saggy stained couch in the bedroom, it’s just a sad and sorry hotel. The doors are heavy and loud, letting in way too much light and noise. Bathroom toilet would occasionally run, shower needed TLC. Oh, and the elevators, you wonder each time e if you will get trapped in them. We booked this because it offered the best member rate in the area. Should have paid 30 more and stayed at the Courtyard. It’s time for Marriott to step up and renovate the property.

As I stayed in this location for 3 weeks I switched rooms and floor a few times, and was very critical of what I expected, the hotel has many faults which I didn’t like, however I couldn’t have the courage to give them less than 5 stars when I compared value to service, professional employees who tried their best to accommodate guest and a beautiful property in a very convenient location. I shot some videos of bedsheets which are too old to be used as a door rag, an old carpet which is due to be replaced, I was planning to award them one star for that, then I looks at the overall experience and how hotel staff operates and hotel’s policies and recognized that they are not that bad. I will come again and recommend this location to all my friends and family.

This is my second stay, and my third room at this hotel. My last stay the room was so dirty and worn out that we had to be moved. This time the room was passable but it's still a run-down, not well kept hotel. The curtains have spots on them, the room vents need to be cleaned and the sheets don't feel clean. When I find a better option I will not be returning.
