Where to start? Sundog was incredibly flexible, planning my tour based on weather conditions and prior commitments. I met with my guide Mike and felt immediately immersed in Alaskan culture.
He is truly a wealth of knowledge, from local historical facts, info about the flora and fauna of the area and most importantly his connection to the current conditions of BC touring. Our tour was fantastic; the best of my life. Great conversations, great skiing, I cannot recommend this outfit any higher.

We had a great day hiking and skiing the West Magnum Face with Dave on a recent trip to Turnagain pass. Dave's approach was well conceived and placed a welcomed emphasis on safety and education. We will definitely be back to ski with Sundog Ski Guides again!

We had an awesome 2 days touring with Mike around Turnagain Pass. Being from out of state and our first time in AK, there is no way we would have found the spots Mike took us to. He went above and beyond to accommodate our touring preferences, and was very flexible based on weather and avalanche conditions. During the tour he was very open with us during all of our decision points and gave us a bunch of options during each step. Would highly recommend him and Sundogs if you are looking for an adventure, if it is your first time ski touring, or if you just want to get off the beaten path and see some new things!
