My mom and I took this tour as a girls trip. It was amazing! We fell in love with Italy. Every stop was gorgeous and unique. Perillo tours made the trip incredibly easy. We loved the freedom this tour gave us to dine in local restaurants for dinner each evening. We truly felt like our guide introduced us to the city but then turned loose to experience the city. Friends ask me what my favorite part was and I honestly can say it was all my favorite! I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you like walking.

We had an amazing trip to Italy on Perillo’s North Continental tour! Our Tour Director, Marco was excellent! He was helpful, knowledgeable and fun. We had a great group of people to travel with and perfect weather. The destinations we visited were beautiful historic, and unforgettable. My favorites were Venice and Capri, the hillsides of Tuscany, and the view from our hotel in Naples. My husbands were Pompeii, Rome and Capri. We highly recommend this tour!

My family and I (4 of us) went on an 8-day Perillo tour of Rome and the Amalfi Coast in May of 2024. As it was our first trip to Italy, we chose Perillo based on their reputation and decades of experience. WE CHOSE CORRECTLY! Prior to the trip, all our dealings with Perillo were flawless. They arranged the flights, answered all our questions, and provided great tips and recommendations. Perillo met us at the airport in Rome and it really was smooth sailing from there. Our primary tour guide was Christina who was with us for the entire tour. She was sweet and wonderful and full of information. She guided us like children every step of the way and we always knew what we were doing next, where we should be and when. Our two Perillo arranged hotels (Rome and Amalfi) were excellent – clean, pretty, opulent, close to the action with outstanding food and service. All our meals outside of the hotels were in excellent restaurants chosen and prearranged by Perillo. For our major tours (the Vatican, Forum, Coliseum, Pompeii, Capri, etc), Christina handed us off to “local” Perillo tour guides who were experts on the specific site. Perillo had all the tickets whenever we needed them. We never waited on any significant line. There was prearranged “free” time when you could explore on your own, eat and shop where you wanted. From our hotel in Amalfi, we visited Positano, Ravello, Sorrento and Capri. There was wine tasting, a moonlight outdoor bus ride through Rome, etc. Other than Italian Airways (which was excellent), all our ground / water transportation was also arranged by Perillo (bus, van, ferry) and was flawless. Our bus driver was awesome!

Italy is a beautiful country to visit. There are so many interesting things to see. Its people are friendly and most speak English. Perillo was organized, professional and did an outstanding job of showing us as much as possible in the time we had without overdoing it. We had a fantastic vacation, and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. We will visit Italy again (northern part next time) and we will certainly use Perillo to do so!

Our first trip to Italy with Perillo Tours was incredible. The North Continental tour was a great way to see so much of everything from Venice, Florence, Pisa, Naples, Pompeii, Isle of Capri, Rome, and the Vatican. The old saying “all good things must come to an end” is not entirely true, thanks to Perillo. We have been reliving our memories of Italy together, sharing stories and photos with family and friends, and rewriting that phrase to “all good things must happen again!” Thank you, Perillo, for a life long dream vacation come true.

Amazing experience with Perillo Tours! I went on the North Continental Tour in Italy with three friends and we had the best time! Our tour guide, Fabrizio, was so incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable and always kept us smiling and laughing. We visited Venice, Florence, Naples, Capri, Pompeii and Rome. Each experience was perfect from the hotels to the food to the wine. The Tenuta Torciano Winery was one of my favorite stops along with our trip to Capri but really every city was amazing! Our driver throughout the trip was really great as well. It couldn’t have been a more perfect vacation. I highly recommend Perillo Tours! You won’t be disappointed! Just returned from a sister trip to Northern Italy with Perillo Tours. What an amazing experience. From the very beginning we were so well taken care of by Marco (our tour guide) and Stefano (our driver). They took us to the ideal spots in every location for awesome views. The hotels were very nice and the meals were delicious. Constant attention to every detail made my decision to use this group again an easy one. They insured for me that this was a trip of a lifetime!!!

This was the best tour I have ever been on. Perillo Tours pick the best hotels, locations of interest and restaurants in every city. Their tour guides know how to give you the “local” experience for outstanding food and remarkable hospitality. I felt a part of the group but enjoyed 5 star, personal attention. Italy was beautiful as expected but for care and attention to detail Perillo was the unexpected star of the show each and every day.

We loved our Perillo tour! We took the North Continental, and it was spectacular. I’d do it again in a heartbeat! No hesitation.

Our hotel in Venice had a lovely garden where we relaxed before meeting our incredible guide Georgio. In Venice, we ate at La Columbina, and it was delicious! Highly recommend! The Murano glass factory was amazing, and I wish I’d bought more souvenirs. We saw Padua then toured gorgeous Florence. Sitting in the Piazza Signoria before seeing the David, watching artists sketch and absorbing the magnitude of the history was one of those moments that will stay with me forever. Naples and Pisa were lovely, and walking the streets of Pompeii was simply unreal. The history is fascinating! Capri was impressive. The lemons in Capri were bigger than my head, and the lemon granita alone was worth the trip. Our final stop was Rome, and it was just beyond belief. The magnitude of the Colosseum, the art, seeing all the amazing sights, just the perfect ending to a perfect trip!

Our talented bus driver was always pleasant and professional. The way he threaded that bus through narrow streets was a sight to behold. Our driver and hotel staff always moved our luggage for us, which was a huge plus. I do wish our bus had charging ports, but that was easily remedied with an external charger.

Two special visits were the Tenuta Torciano winery and Pierrotucci leather factory. The staff at the winery made us feel like family. I don’t even drink wine, but I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience there. I’m still enjoying the balsamic and olive oil we bought from them, and my husband enjoyed several bottles of their wine. The leather factory was such a pleasant surprise! My husband found a leather jacket for himself, and I fell in love with two! My sole regret of the trip is that I only bought one.

Finally, I have to mention how lovely our fellow travelers were. Everyone was kind and considerate, and we made fast friends with several others in our group and still remain in contact.

There was a great balance of busy time and down time. Perillo made everything so easy! It really was the perfect trip, and now I’m currently planning our next one with Perillo! Life is short, take the trip!
