I have been coming to SE Alaska to go fishing every July since about 2000. This was my first time here at Catch A King. We had a really good time, the staff is great and the lodge itself is very comfortable and clean. The boats are aluminum North River boats that fit 4 fisherman along with the guide. They are just perfect for the kind of fishing they do here. Our guide, Pinky, was excellent, I hope we get to fish with him again some day.

Overall we had a great trip, everything went smoothly and we all got home with our fish still frozen. I can definitely see myself returning here.

Best fishing trip of my life. Lance was our guide and was a true fishing savant who knew exactly where each species was biting. We caught our limit each day and enjoyed Lance’s knowledge and guidance. Lodging is homey and comfortable. Food is delicious. Boats are meticulous. And the entire organization is friendly and organized. Will definitely be back.
