Dan did a great job communicating with me in planning our trip. Everything was just as expected and promised. Very private lodge with only a few people (just my family of 5 and another 2 gentlemen). There is the main lodge for meals and socialization, and then we had two cabins (one for my husband and I and one for our three boys). We were able to fish with all of the guides (Keith, Brett, Matt, and Austin) including Dan, and they were all world class. We caught huge Pike, huge Sheefish, Chum salmon, and an Artic Grayling! The food was perfect, the scenery amazing, and the setting so peaceful and restful. Truly come to fish to your hearts content and don't waste a single day on the beautiful Holitna River!

Only 5 stars because I wasn't able to give more! Fishing was outstanding, guides were awesome, food was delicious, scenery was beautiful, accommodations were great! Dan and his staff make sure everyone has a great experience every day -- like one big family. We caught the biggest and the most pike we've ever experienced and were introduced to sheefish - the tarpon of the north. And we wish we were still out there! We definitely want to go again!

Dan runs a great operation. If you want to catch a lot of big fish, this is the place to go. The guides were very helpful. The food was excellent.

Only giving 5 stars because it won't let me give 10! World class fishing, and amazing dinning. Extremely beautiful and remote. Wondful staff that makes you feel right at home.
