This is our 3rd year under Pete’s ownership. This lodge and fishing experience is incredible. The fishing for silvers experience is second to none. The guides are terrific and work really hard to create a memorable experience. The culinary experience under Chef Chris is amazing.

How can they provide such a top notch experience and yet be in the remote fishing paradise that they are? The food was top notch.....think gourmet meals, all the staff friendly as can be, and of course the top fishing experience one could imagine. I can't say enough how this establishment goes out of the way to make a fishing venture of a lifetime come true.

In 25 years fishing multiple salmon venues and locations I look back at my many adventures here for king and coho as life experiences that are unequalled elsewhere.
Pete and his guides create an experience that guarantees smiles that last a lifetime. Oh - and the chef inspired food in the fly-in outback of Alaska is downright amazing!

My wife and I flew up a few days early, and hung out in Wasilla with friends. On the day we headed to fish camp we got to Anchorage airport early, and checked in with Penn Air. It's a short 1 hour flight to King Salmon. There's not much in King Salmon, so if you need anything with you in camp, buy it in Anchorage

Forrest from Branch Air met us, and told us our luggage would be out in 20 minutes, so we went to the store next door. $9 bags of Oreos, and $4 candy bars.

When we got back to the airport our luggage still wasn't there, but arrived shortly. A short van ride and we were on our float plane for a 25 minute ride to camp. A smooth touch down, and we motored to shore where we were meet by the entire camp staff. Once in camp we had a quick orientation, followed by lunch, followed by FISHING !!

We've fished the Nush before, but we were sleeping in tents. Here they have warm, dry, cabins with electricity and heaters. Plus hot showers and flush toilets.

The silver fishing was EPIC. We fished with Albert. We started out trolling, then spinners, then jigs, then I even caught my first ever silver on a fly rod. What works best?

Everything!!

We limited out everyday. Even if you're not an accomplished fisherman/fisherwoman, these guys will help you/show you how to catch fish.

Our schedule was a delicious full breakfast every morning at 8:00, in the boats around 8:45, epic fishing shortly after. Around 11:30 we'd head in for a hot lunch of sandwiches or soup, then back for more epic fishing until about 4:30.

Dinner every night was preceded by appetizers, then a delicious dinner, followed by an even more delicious dessert. The only down side was after a few days, my waders began to "shrink" 🙂

It was a great time, and we're already planning our return.

I have been up to the lodge for 3 years now and am eagerly awaiting my trip up this June. The lodge and staff are amazing! The food is better and the guide staff is 2nd to none!!
Check AK salmon fishing off that bucket list and plan your adventure. You won't regret it!

I had the opportunity to go for a month. The fishing was phenomenal, the guides are great and the chef is fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. It's a beautiful place for a fishing adventure. Thumbs up to all that work at the lodge and that have made it so beautiful!
