This airport needs a lot of help. The check-in area by the Alaska Airlines counter has just 4-5 seats for children, seniors, or people with disabilities to use. At the area in front of the TSA check-in there are benches for passengers, but not nearly 1/2 as much seating as is needed.

There are no vending machines of any kind available to the public. There may have been a water fountain, but I did not see it. The single stall bathrooms are only available for people who have gained access through the TSA document checker. You cannot reach the bathrooms unless you have a ticket, and can only reach a bathroom once you have had you ID and boarding pass checked by TSA. This is an extreme hardship to -people with children there to pick-up or drop-off passengers. If they have to wait for a delayed plane, there is no nearby restroom to use.

There is no public announcement system that I heard. I just heard staff using loud voices to announce.

There is a desperate need for additional roping material. People inadvertently can find themselves behind the Alaska Airlines counter. There is no noticeable delineation between where customers can be, and where they should not be, and I saw accidents happen.

I understand that this is a rural Alaska airport, however, there is enough commerce here to justify better facilities for the public, especially those with ADA challenges.

If you wish to go to Dillingham, you really don't have a choice to go here unless you wish to charter a plane or float-plane from Anchorage or Fairbanks.

Small, quick and easy. Like any other airport, some TSA could have a better attitude. No eating areas on site or nearby, besides the hospital.

The Alaska Airlines facility is small. If the 737 jet is even close to being filled, there will be not be enough space for everyone in the waiting areas. There is only one restroom, which does not have potable water. So if you arrive in Dillingham needing to fill a water bottle, you can't do it in the terminal. Getting baggage is a bit of scrum since there is only about a 25' area for bags to be deposited. But all of the people that I talked with (AK Airlines and TSA) were friendly and helpful. There are also 2 courtesy phones available for local calls.

Upon arrival the mens restroom was out of order. No problem , we all queue for the ladies. It was in great need of service. I reported to the staff about needing paper products. A week later we are back in this little airport and the mens restroom is STILL out of order!! The condition of the ladies restroom is so unsanitary which is inexcusable. I used an outhouse in the woods that was in better condition than ths place. Everything needed filled or cleaned. Staff is unresponsive to requests. This place needs better management...its the pits literally !!

Simple place, friendly TSA (which is rare!)
No wifi though, and be warned, ATT and the other big networks don't work in this town. Only the local GCI.
