Went to the 50th Anniversary of the H fred Simon African American Cultural Center. A great celebration in a wonderful setting. It was a blessing to mingle with former and present students. Building is excellently maintained and the dining experience was wonderful. Go Huskies

I'm a bit biased because I'm a uconn student, but I like most of the events they host in this ballroom, e.g., the Ben Shapiro event when he came to campus. I can't say I've ever been in the ballroom to use it as an actual ballroom, though. That's probably a mixture of reasons, like the fact that an octopus with all of its limbs amputated is probably a better ballroom dancer than I am. Anyway, it's a cool room overall.
